That's funny that you would say it's like a thorn patch, I have used that phrase throughout my entire life. Don't throw me into that briar patch! It was from a story when I was a kid about a rabbit. I felt really mad about the situation, until you just said that.
This might as well have been a personal reading. Two years ago I met my platonic twin flame. Six months later she left. The ensuing heartbreak was the hardest thing I've been through, and the most important. Nothing else could have opened my heart so fully or brought me home to myself so well. The healing has been amazing, and in early summer I reached a point where I felt the lesson had been truly integrated, where I was fully on the path and living from the heart. Now, after so much healing and self work for both of us, the energy is calm, lighthearted, peaceful. Our connection is timeless, and the strength we've both found in ourselves means we are free to express our hearts together and separately, to move forward on our individual paths in the security of knowing true love lies within. We don't need each other any more. But we share a soul connection and life is sweeter for both of us when we are friends.
