    TRANSCRIPT:
There’s a lot of opinions out there about what it takes to be really successful in the bar and restaurant business but I want to tell you what I believe it takes to be the most successful.
I’ve gone from nearly closing my doors to doubling my sales and tripling my loyal customers within 8 months time, and all that happened because I focused on one key strategy. I’m hoping you’ll agree with me and take my advice because I’ve seen this strategy increase my clients sales by 25% in just 3 months time, if you’re having a hard time believing that then You can watch the video where Andy Stiles from Stiles Public house says so on my website.
Anyways, There’s no denying you need to have good service, good food if you have a kitchen, and yes a good location is a plus but that doesn’t necessarily make you a success or not a success.
There’s also all different types of bars and restaurants too, so I don’t want to say you have to have a very clean and elegant place because you don’t. There’s tons of dive bars that are not the cleanest that do extremely well, better then some that are nicer. The reason for this is because of what I’m about to tell you. Now instantly you’re going to say “yea, this is common sense Nick!” but I can guarantee you’re probably not doing this as I’m going explain.
So here it is. The number one thing you need to be very successful in this business is to have a massive customer base that looks at you, the owner, or even the manager as friends or family. There’s no denying that people do business with people who they like and trust. However most owners don’t focus on that. And then, what about the owners who have multiple locations and are not able to be there all the time, then how do you do this?
I’ll tell you in a second but When you’re able to build trust and credibility, with each person who walks in your door, who comes to your website, you’ve got the piece to the puzzle that can make your business a huge success. Being able to build trust and credibility creates relationship, I’ll say that word again. Relationship! and this is critical to your success… Relationship can be built without you ever meeting these customers face to face.
How? By having a automated way to capture your customers information by offering them something of value, and then following up with them with a marketing message that hits their emotions and it instantly gets them to like you and trust you. A marketing message That makes them WANT to do business with you. This simple little system will bring you more profits for the rest of your life, then anything you’ve ever done.
If you’re more focused on providing value, trust, and credibility to your customers and new customers, while still being able to provide a good experience, you’ve got every piece to the puzzle you need to be a huge success.
If you have a way of creating trust and credibility with your customers, leave a response below in my youtube channel.

"Have a massive customer that looks the owner or even the manager as friends or family." I couldn't agree more with this statement because relationship definitely matters to the business. Thank you for this, Nick. 🙏

I felt that. Have a relationship with your customers. Build the trust. Good communication. I agree that is definitely the most important for me.

  • @restauranttrainingvideos9516

So true. I always go to the restaurants where I either know a waiter or a manager or even the owner.

I work in an airport as team leader and while it is hard to build that kind of relationship with our customers, I like to build this kind of bond with my team. In return they are motivated to rise above the obstacles of the industry and provide the type of the quality of service that comes from the heart! This permits us to get returning customers who we then get to build a relationship with. But while the business focus discussed in this video isn’t set on our type of demographic, we always strive for our customers to return to our restaurants.

Investing in people is key and with the investment of people (Employees) makes employees happy and then essentially happy employees trickle down to happy customers. Is not about just the owner and the manager.

Definetly true although I have ran a small tourist bar, I was dealing with a flow of different people from all over the world. What I found was your energy & passion for what you do definitely impacts how people feel as a customer. The ambiance, energy & passion draws people in. Making that connection is important & it elevates success!!!
    Thankyou for sharing your knowledge.

There are no specific actionable items in this video. I can't get my 4 minutes back, but hopefully others see this comment before watching. I hate being negative, but there are people out there who are really trying to learn something and this video takes them away from doing just that.

so you’re putting forward this really simple idea : customers will come back if they have a great relationship with the owner.
but you’re not suggesting any specific way of doing it and are asking your viewers to do it for you in the comment section? wow that’s really really interesting ... I’m glad I watched this ! 😂

I don’t intend on getting into the restaurant business. I know from experience restaurants should have good food and good service. Restaurants should also treat customers with respect by allowing them to move to a booth right away upon request if they’re available. Restaurants shouldn’t be having you write your name on a waitlist when there are tables available too. I had a bad experience at one of my favorite korean bbq restaurants and it has been poorly managed since the pandemic. One of the waiters asked me to write my name on a waitlist even though the place was empty with no customers and he said he’ll call me when they’re ready. The waiter gave my dad a hard time with moving to a booth. My dad requested to move to a booth and the waiter didn’t allow us to do that right away. The waiter constantly kept telling us to wait outside. My dad got turned off and we decided to take our business to Denny’s where they treat their customers better by allowing customers to move to a booth right away upon request.

I want to run a bar, but I'm concerned about safety issues. Like what happens when you go to close up late at night, and there's people waiting outside to jump you and stuff like that? Also, what about cash transport...do I need to have a Brinks cash pickup service or something like that?

Have you guys noticed that :
eating out is very difficult and expensive.
    in an area, typically,
you might find an outlet selling pizza,
you might sometimes find a restaurant in which meals are quite expensive,
    and that's it.
Here you barely have : very few foods, and they are expensive
    You can eat almost nothing,
    Do you guys see ?
    This model is very inefficient
    Eating out is nearly impossible
    Something is definitely missing
it is : a restaurant where food keeps changing, food changes every day
    Chefs also rotate
A meal is going to be cheap
You get new foods every day. After a period of time : you will have eaten thousands of foods
Do you see the difference now ?
    This model is way better
Eating out will finally become possible.
