Instead l.h. is played as regular 8th notes to line up with the r.h., which is easier but not how it's written.

Who is the instrument builder ? Sounds like Dutch accoustic. Very interesting sonority and what a power...
If that's the one in the picture, it's not Dutch for sure, more likely southern german
