This is probably one of the greatest matches that never happened, along with the greatest show that never happened
Last year David Starr went up against nxt star Jordan devlin and this year he’s going up against AEW star Jon moxley
That’s the closest we could get for a physical connection between both promotions apart from AEW star Britt baker showing up at nxt war games 2019
David starr is incredible and would hate to see him go to nxt think they would just ruin him but if killer kross and Timothy Thatcher can do there own thing in nxt and they start going with tv 14 rating again then he may have a chance there if not I rather see him in aew along with jeff cobb lance archer brody Lee. All big guys for everyone who said aew doesn't have big guys. Not yet anyways.

It sucks that one of the best independent promotions on the planet had to end up represented by someone like Starr. This promo package still rules, even despite that.

As a person, he's horrible if he did it, but what he stood for as a wrestler and the movement he was a part of should continue, especially with the releases in WWE. But in wrestling, it's about the individual and their huge egos, which is why terrible incidents like max's occur.

As much as everyone wanted to see this match, I’m still thankful bc more wrestling fans now know about David Starr and OTT bc of this intro. I just watched Devlin v Starr the other day and am looking more into his feud with Walter currently. Amazing content
I was sooo disappointed by Starr. I really liked him, he was probably my favourite wrestler, both in ring and in promos. Also, no homo, but I always thought he is very good looking. Just so sad that he did what he did.
Starr at the end reminds me of Daniel Day Lewis' character in Gangs of New York, and I really dig it.

@@JM-fr5ge Don't tell that to Cornette. Lol I think it could work. AEW schedule is light, so wrestlers can still wrestler around the globe. Starr can come in to save us from the "Elite".
It's all fun and laughs because AEW likes playing good guy, but make no mistake. AEW is a big company owned by a billonaire where one his VP's (Cody) has gone on record to openly be againts unions. For all intents and purposes, Starr is blackballed from there just as much he is from WWE.
