To help with condensation and lessen it as much as you can, picking a great spot for your tent is essential. Camping out near bodies of water or low lying areas on the land causes the warm air you produce naturally with your breath and body mix with the cold air that swoops in during the evening and morning. Try to pitch your tent under a tree canopy or on high ground, as far from water or low lying pieces of ground. This will help keep that difference in air temperature minimal and less condensation from forming on the inside of your tent or on your gear. Condensation is inevitable to a degree, but you can significantly affect the degree at which it is amplified by being smart about where you pitch up camp for the night.
Putting your tent under a tree is not a good idea at all because if that branch falls down your not doing so hot but if less condensation is more important than surviving the night than sure

Tent condensation is a fact of life, Especially when it is really humid like it has been. Why you air the tent out the next day so it is dry for that night. We always hung the sleeping bags out also to air out and dry if you sweated into them. Rinse and repeat how ever many nights you stay there... When I did the 2 week solo Boundary Waters canoe trips(Hey there is a show idea! You guys go canoe for a week! REAL camping with the wolves and bears!) I used a tarp and my canoe as the tent, canoe upside down tied off to a tree at an angle, the tarp laid over it, faced the fire for some warmth(gets chilly up in Northern MN at night). Sleeping bag on the ground NOT on a tarp! If it rained that would funnel water into the bag! I usually cut some lower fir branches to lay out as a bed to keep me off the ground some. I want to see you guys portage a canoe and all your supplies a couple miles over rocks and mud LOL Some GREAT walleye and northern pike fishing! Lake trout in some lakes, LOTS of panfish... I didn't bring in food, I lived off fish and foraging wild edible plants.
