but now i think i am starting to understand what they are trying to say - NONE of this will matter. not the stonehendge. not the fine art. not any ones ability to get to work. none of it will matter within our generation unless people go after the corporations that keep getting away with destroying the human habitability of our planet.

This isn't the first time Stonehenge has been damaged. When we lived in England, the henge was cordoned off, so rule following visitors couldn't touch them. We all know the problem ISN'T them. Most of the time, the damage is done at night when the site is closed.
This time, these jerks wanted to be seen, obviously. They thought their message would be heard and understood better by damaging a world heritage site. It doesn't have to make sense to us. I think this is very narcissistic of them, but what do I know?

Protesting and marching for rights is truly an important part of a free-speech society. But these guys are just dumb. They're making ppl on both sides of the political spectrum simply hate them. I'm going to continue doing what I can to save the planet (re-using plastic containers, bringing my own bags to the store, driving a hybrid or taking the train, etc), but I def DO NOT claim these ppl as having the same values as me.
