I wish I knew someone who would take the plants cause I would hate to destroy them but I have to be realistic with my garden space. That person who got yours was very lucky, I know they have strong, healthy plants. Enjoy your evening.

You need to move to Buffalo N.Y. we have nice summers and can do real good gardens here, I have over 300 containers 3 to 7 gal. and grow most everything.

So, Sunday I was involved in SEVERAL un-Lyfing of the blk and yellow caterpillars. Thank you for the warning. But, what is it with the collards???? I can run across the Huey to grab a banana pup if you have no takers. Be careful out there

Collards must be their favorite leafy green to eat, I know it's one of mines, LOL. Definitely will let you know when I tackle those banana pups, they are so crowded in that planter and the pups just don't stop coming up. Hopefully, I can separate them this weekend and let you know. You did good. I be outside sweating up a storm too.😰 I have a question. Since I don't use worm castings; I was wondering, do you still need store bought castings, in the places where there are live worms in the soil.🪱And does the store bought kind work any better?
Hey @ReasonsWhy5, thanks, it definitely was hot but I was determined to get those plants planted. Actually, worm castings are not required if you already have worms but since I don't actually know how many worms are there, I just add it for extra nutrition. I'm just guessing here but I would say the actual worm poop is most likely better than the store bought bag. Happy gardening, have a great evening.
