Terminator Arcade Game rail shooter was one of my favourites. I played it on the Amiga. The soundtrack was awesome and the graphics were great for it's time.

Terminator Resistance is an excellent game. If you're looking for a AAA game then it might not be for you. It was made on a budget and it's bit rough around the edges but the devs are clearly Terminator fans. It has a decent enough story, a truly great atmosphere and it doesn't try to be something more. If you're a fan I'm pretty sure you'll appreciate it for what it is. I say give it a go. Also has 2 DLCs which are also great.
Its the best Terminator game since the Future Shock duology.
I've been waiting for it come down in price but it's not budging so I've brought it off ebay for £15 I feel I'll appreciate the details but probably won't play it more than once
One dlc, one free update but both were only on PS5 or PC versions of the game

they all seem like unpolished cash grabs, I liked "resistence" (2019) but even that got boring however it has some of the best atmosphere, the lasers and everything sounds very close to the sfx in the old terminator movies
Resistance had a lot of potential, absolutely nailed some aspects, then feels like they didn't put much effort into others.

The Bethesda ones on DOS weren't too bad.
The Terminator 1990, Terminator 2029, Rampage, Future Shock and SkyNET
Resistance and Future Shock are honestly the best Terminator games out there still.
The terminator pc game from 1990 wasn’t a cash grab….it was an open world 3D FPS game that came out years before Doom and Wolfenstein. You could wander the city and rob pedestrians and shops and shoplift, get into fights with the police and steal vehicles like GTA.
I love playing Judgment Day on the boardwalk when I was a kid even up to my teens I still would stop by
I honestly never got why people were having trouble getting through Terminator Salvation (2010). It's probably because of the practice I've had with the game but last time I played it at a movie theater I almost made it to the last part of Chapter 2 on my own. The only reason I didn't actually complete it was because my mom told me that we had to go home.
It’s not awful. Just a little too generic for a 3rd person shooter IMO

I love Terminator 3 The Redemtion, used to play it alot back in 2007 on my PS2,the damn thing died on me but still so much memory,i still play it on an emulator to this day. The game might not be good cuz it's a linear story game only and sometimes pretty difficult but it is one of those rare games where you get to play as Arnold's T-800 running around kicking some metal ass and even T-X
And also,the game even have the effects that Arnold's skin tearing up the more damage you take and also that terminator vision mode.
Not a good game overall but definitely not trash either, anyone who doesn't play it yet,i recommend you to try it.
What’s wrong with “Linear Story games” You mean because it’s not in a boring open world where you drive around mindlessly doing nothing but looking at a minimap? Those games have what’s called great LEVEL DESIGN. Now Redemption doesn’t have the greatest level design. Most of the game is comprised of walking straight with little to know cover and shooting terminators. Eventually you get some cool segments where you can hack and ride terminators, fly terminators, ride in the back of trucks etc and the level design in those segments are vastly better than the on ground shooting segments.
@@J-RichTalks Nothing wrong with linear story games, im just pointing that out because most people seem to hate the game for that. That why i said the game is not perfect but it wasn't trash either.

Throughout my life I've only played three of the console games: Rise of the Machines, Salvation and Resistance and enjoyed play all of them

I'm in 6th grade, but my cousin bought a Terminator 2 videotape and watched it together at my uncle's house in America. My cousin and I slept on the sofa in the TV room that included the sister-in-law at the pastor's little father's house. The sun set too late. Because it's Seattle. It was then, and now the sewage chase has a different music. The Terminator 2 video.
Terminator Resistance is one of the best game based on Terminator movies I have ever played. Everything is pure love for the franchise, from the music to the enviroment, dialogues, story, etc. It is somehow an "old school" fps, with a bit of resource management and exploration, but mostly guided. Highly suggested to every fan out there.
I am also playing Terminator Dark Fate - Defiance but it is pretty hard (and unoptimized tbh), so I am still at the 2nd mission. It looks intriguing but also a bit "poor" on content. Idk.
Resistence was amazing bar 2.5 faults.
1. The jump from regular weapons to plasma was too quick, I dumped all mine once I got Plasma rifle.
2. Game was too short.
.5 the game released on PC/8th gen and the dlc only on PC/9th gen was ridiculous.
The fact it wasn't directly based on a specific movie is what helped it I think.
If the new open-world is as good as Resistance it'll be stunning.

I played 10. Terminator 2 on judgment day when I was a child! This game is the most closest to the story, but you only got one life, if you dead, you gotta start over. I spent hundreds of hours on this game and finally finished it! Still love it till this day and still hoping for have something similar to this terminator game for my ps5, although I’m already a father of 2.

The Dark Fate Defiance thing confuses me. First because it even exists. Dark Fate was the hardest flop of the Terminator franchise which is saying something so why make a game from it and expect it to do well? Second because its trailer shows what looks a lot like a T-800 which isn't supposed to exist in the Dark Fate continuity

If you mean as part of Skynet, multiple games give you the opinion to play as Terminators as well humans. Skynet, T3: War of the Machines and the free dlc for Resistence let's you.
I hd the first game profiled here, The Terminator. Yes, it was as unplayable as it looked - it really, really sucked! I may have the box (which was the best thing about it) somewhere here in the house, I'm not sure . . .

My childhood was playing Terminator 2 Judgment Day T2, on Seaga, then plaging Terminator 3 Rise of the machines on Ps2 and Terminator3 Redemption demo on Terminator 3 Rise of the machine, then re play T2 Judgment Day at Santa Cruz Beach Board walk. Terminator salvation at the Movie Theater, now Terminator Resistance now on my PS4, is still a Terminator fan.

Capcom should make the next Terminator game, they did a great job with Mr. X and Nemesis.
Imagine a game set around Judgment Day time, you play as a random character or John or Sarah with various objectives and you're trying evade a T800 then later as you progress a T1000. The first you recognize but can only slow down, the second could shape shift making him harder to track. Could be massive like a GTA game. Multiplayer limited to two or four players versus each other.
I better learn to make games and do it for myself! Just change a few details to avoid a lawsuit.

Technically he didn't. It was identical to the Megadrive/Genesis version (often both referred to as the T2 16-bit game) so he probably didn't feel the need to do 2 clips as this wasn't a comprehensive list of all Terminator games but rather an evolution of them.

Oh wow...so the 6th game really was a Nintendo game...I had it back when I was a kid, on a "NES" ripoff hime console that looked like a Sega Mega Drive (the ones that had "16 million game in one" signs on their box and had the games on yellow cartridges)...it was really hard towards the end but I know I beat it at least twice😂😂

We need a Terminator treatment like we got a too long time ago with Alien Isolation. Material, that is very true to the source and passionated about it. But if the Terminator licence gets handled like it does for the majority of it's lifetime so far, we will never again get anything good from it. While I am absolutely certain, there is still way more to do with it than what we got.

I like how Terminators Resistance is best one, but it isnt exactly refines, and the campaign is too shorts, overly simple too.
It is like they knows they can do more, like making human combatant flinch when shots, or have better AI instead of copying the Terminators insert on a different skins.
That games have protential, nothing news, but protentially to be fun to plays, and what did they do? They set their goal on mediocrity only.
