Any words of gratitude would fall short for your time and effort . I needed a slight guidance to improve my style of writing . I am able to understand all the words you have used in your article, report etc , and am familiar with them , but not able to use all those words in my writing despite understanding their meaning and use. I do read a lot of book and have a good vocabulary but , not able to use them to improve my style and level of writing . Could you kindly give any suggestions or tips to make it better? Sir just needed some advice. My school has organised third preboards starting tomorrow, but i am unsure if i should take them because it always breaks my consistency in the subjects, they will go on till 1st Feb. BTW i have scored well in the first two (around 94-95 percent overall).(ICSE class 10)
It depends on you, if you are easily demotivated by low marks I would say don't take it if you think you can study by saving the time,but if you don't care about low marks so give it but don't change your schedule

I had my eng lit preboard today, and it went well, I must say that your amazing videos are the main reason for it. I am expecting no less than 77 or 78 :)
There was an MCQ question regarding MOV which I urge you to answer as to which answer is correct
"The trial scene is known for_________
a) Shylock's defeat
b) Portia's wit and ingenuity"
There were two other options but I am confident that the correct answer lies within these two.

The (b) is more appropriate than (a) though your teacher should give marks for both of them. -- From a senior(currently in class 11)
@@banashreemukherjee2025Yeah, I felt like both of the options made sense, but I went for (a) since I personally think that the trial scene is really remarkable as it marks the last time we see shylock in the play, whereas in case of Portia it just highlights another trait of hers. Hopefully both of them get accepted. Thank you for your input :)
I am in class 11 as well and both of them seem correct
In my opinion ( currently class 12th), Shylock's defeat would be more appropriate because Portia's wit is also clearly seen in other scenes of the play, not just the last. But Shylock's defeat is the climax so that is a lot more appropriate here.
