What I'm saying is there has to be randomness to make it unpredictable. If randomness if desired, then how can you claim a shuffle to be "bad" in the first place? as a dealer i feel her normally dealers get a 20 minute break every 60 to 80 minutes if a dealer is late to hit you for break it can turn it into 85 minutes in 15 out and trust me that last 10 or so minutes you are waiting for break really drags. If you come back late because you were tapped late now you look like the bad guy cuz the next dealer that gets hit views you as the late one and it snowballs.
I'm lucky where I work it's dead in graveyard most of the time and when only two or three of us are left (which happens alot). We get 30 on 30 off. It's amazing.
We worked 90 minutes and had 30 minutes break for 8hours. 30minutes was more then enough and still people could f up. Most of the times i would just take a shorter break. Worst thing for me was when your night shift is over and nobody comes trough that door to release you.
My guess is the person that was dealing had to hand shuffle last minute, cutting into her break, she decided to take her full break which is then causing the dealer in this video to miss part, maybe most of their break if the other girl was a very slow shuffler. Pit boss probably had the guy come take her off finally, and so she's pissed and saying if she did that, she would be fired (She wouldn't). For context: Casino table staff work in a rotation. One person is on break, follows the same person, and they rotate through 2-4 tables depending how many are in the rotation. If one person doesn't get their break, it affects everyone in the rotation and if there is no dead tables to fix it then it becomes a headache. Casino table dealers are considered high risk for RSI, so there is a break every 40 mins to an hour, depending on rotation.
Ok, so what happened, the new girl in another room got stuck because she had to start shuffling her cards, this happens only because you forget to press a button to notify a shuffler when the cards are almost depleted, or if the higher ups tell her to do that. New people can't shuffle the shoes very fast so usually it could take 6-12 minutes for them sometimes. This woman is mad because she got less break because of that as we are on a moving rotation. Honestly, I have worked 2 and a half year with this, the lady is pissed at a new employee and talking shit about her in front of a live camera with the companies clients and active games. Super unprofessional. I always have more patience with new employees as they really just don't know and make mistakes, just be firm on how its supposed to be. But this lady has forgotten she was new at one point and probably have cost other people their breaks for her dumb decisions as that happens us all. But I understand her frustration, I've also been mad because of the same reason, she might not get to eat her lunch now, she might had to go to bathroom, or make a phonecall, every single minute, no every second counts for someones break in this job, unprofessional but understandable

But once I went to a BJ table and the dealer was shuffling the card herself but was taking bets in so I bet. Didnt know she was gonna take atleast 15 minutes to do so... I swear it almost looked like she was doing it deliberately as if she didnt want to be bothered to deal cards and had this very slow very lazy attitude... This gave me a very bad impression of that gambling site...

I'm a dealer of two years, and i learned a lot about addiction and the how the industry works. I'll be leaving as soon as September and I'm glad that I'm getting out. Not because the pay is bad, in fact I'm confident I make more than you, but because the politics and the environment are awful. Most players that I've met are really nice and are responsible gamblers, but there are a few people that have ruined their lives I'm sure. addiction can be crippling but it can be dealt with and you can get clean, like smoking or drinking. the person needs to want to quit though, as a dealer we can't tell you to get help, which is the saddest thing I think.

There are two ways to win as a player in a casino 1. Catch the dealer cheating and call them out on it 2. The slot machines will sometimes keep making you win til you feel confident to put in a high amount, don’t do that just take all the money you won and go (this one will probably only work like once per casino cause the next time they see you they’ll just set your machine to always lose)

People don't realize how strict casinos are. A simple "mistake" will get you fired. We are under surveillance 24/7. Thousands, if not millions, are being moved throughout the casino, they aren't taking any chances of you messing with their profit.

Thats easy to say when it is not you. How would you feel if you were denied your only break in hours just because someone else didnt know how to do their job properly. On top of that, to have it happen multiple times in a row because of that same person. I dont know what country they are in in and what the rules regarding breaks are but here in Ireland your employer is required by Law to make sure you get your break, even if you dont want one. I am on the girls side, she is going to lose her job because someone else cannot do theirs.

Wagering at an online casino is a huge hassle! You are subject to electronic fees, there is no guarantee your card will be accepted, And when you try to cash out, not only do you receive a foreign check that is not always accepted at banks, But sometimes the casino plays dirty and comes up with some nonsense reason why they won't pay you. Also, if you win a large jackpot, you can't always cash out your winnings in one check. Instead you might be limited to less than $10k at a time, which is liable to subject you to a SAR by the bank.
Even if the bank SARs you, once they investigate and track the payment they'll most likely fall to the same conclusion of what is going on. This would be no different than winning one of those 10k for life, or breaking up your lottery winnings in multiples.
What’s going on?!? No one seems to know the situation. Here’s my guess: Based on the words, uniform, and attitude,the lady here is not a dealer but perhaps a lower-level pit boss or floor person. A female dealer (off-screen) had to leave her shift abruptly (bathroom break?) and left the female supervisor to deal until the shift was over. The supervisor probably had to deal only 1-2 hands before the male dealer sat down. But the abrupt vacancy by the female dealer left the female supe in an awkward position that would reflect poorly not on the dealer but on the supe herself. Something like that…
Not really actually! I worked as a dealer, and I had the exact same uniform as this lady has. I will explain to you what really happened. This lady stayed dealing at this table 30 minutes, and she needed either to change another dealer from another table or to go to her breake. She couldn’t do that because this man wasn’t changed by another lady from another table. Why did the other lady not change on time? Because she’s new and the shoe ended 2 minutes before tables needed to be changed, so instead of waiting that 2 minutes with the tower (of cards/the shoe) in front of her, she thought it’s better to shuffle the cards. As a new dealer, you are not that fast doing that, so that shuffle took her longer time. So because it took her longer, nobody could make the rotation, so this girl had her break cut off I think. That’s what really happened. Sorry if you don’t understand something, English it’s not my first language!

I'm a dealer of two years, and i learned a lot about addiction and the how the industry works. I'll be leaving as soon as September and I'm glad that I'm getting out. Not because the pay is bad, in fact I'm confident I make more than you, but because the politics and the environment are awful. Most players that I've met are really nice and are responsible gamblers, but there are a few people that have ruined their lives I'm sure. addiction can be crippling but it can be dealt with and you can get clean, like smoking or drinking. the person needs to want to quit though, as a dealer we can't tell you to get help, which is the saddest thing I think.
I wouldnt support this kind of work environment, or any operation that puts that pressure on an Employee.

There are two ways to win as a player in a casino
1. Catch the dealer cheating and call them out on it
2. The slot machines will sometimes keep making you win til you feel confident to put in a high amount, don’t do that just take all the money you won and go (this one will probably only work like once per casino cause the next time they see you they’ll just set your machine to always lose)

It sounds like one of the newer employees is fully shuffling the deck at the end of the game before going on break which delays other employees and wastes time because they discard the decks every shift change.

People don't realize how strict casinos are. A simple "mistake" will get you fired. We are under surveillance 24/7. Thousands, if not millions, are being moved throughout the casino, they aren't taking any chances of you messing with their profit.

I dont know what country they are in in and what the rules regarding breaks are but here in Ireland your employer is required by Law to make sure you get your break, even if you dont want one. I am on the girls side, she is going to lose her job because someone else cannot do theirs.

Based on the words, uniform, and attitude,the lady here is not a dealer but perhaps a lower-level pit boss or floor person. A female dealer (off-screen) had to leave her shift abruptly (bathroom break?) and left the female supervisor to deal until the shift was over. The supervisor probably had to deal only 1-2 hands before the male dealer sat down. But the abrupt vacancy by the female dealer left the female supe in an awkward position that would reflect poorly not on the dealer but on the supe herself.

Not really actually! I worked as a dealer, and I had the exact same uniform as this lady has. I will explain to you what really happened. This lady stayed dealing at this table 30 minutes, and she needed either to change another dealer from another table or to go to her breake. She couldn’t do that because this man wasn’t changed by another lady from another table. Why did the other lady not change on time? Because she’s new and the shoe ended 2 minutes before tables needed to be changed, so instead of waiting that 2 minutes with the tower (of cards/the shoe) in front of her, she thought it’s better to shuffle the cards. As a new dealer, you are not that fast doing that, so that shuffle took her longer time. So because it took her longer, nobody could make the rotation, so this girl had her break cut off I think. That’s what really happened. Sorry if you don’t understand something, English it’s not my first language!
