These are a lot of fun, I snagged a black one from the kickstarter and it's great. I use mine as a garage door opener, to change TV channels in the Dr's office, and to troll my friend who has a Tesla. 10/10 product.
@@primetimeturner_YT It can scan and repeat many different digital waveforms from radio, wifi and bluetooth signals. Good tool for cybersec pen-testing.
"change TV channels" I used to do that occasionally at restaurants or whatever using my LG g4, it's one of the few phones with an ir blaster, like the headphone jack it's dead tho, only a handful of Chinese devices still have it.
You should also put a screen protector on it. I also backed it and chose the black edition. Love it. I use it to control all kind of IR and sub-ghz stuff at home. Like my LED light using sub-ghz. I also flashed unleashed system onto it and the marauder firmware on the ESP dev board for WiFi pen testing. I also read and captured all my EV charging cards and use the Flipper to authenticate for charging on the HPC DC and on AC chargers etc. Works like a charm. And I scan all kind of NFC tags all around to see if there is something interesting. And some other stuff. ;)

I'm not a computer/hack geek but I keep seeing these everywhere and I'm litteraly ready to feed some information to a hacking tamagotchi just for the sake of it 😭
I think of as programmers god key. I just ordered one and am having the Wi-Fi dev board and the flipper zero sent to me. Can’t wait. It literally Turns you into watchdogs irl.
I work in to events venue, and i call my Flipper Zero a good mood maker. We have a large assortment of devices that uses remote controls for tv monitors, stage curtains, LED lights , air conditioners, automatic doors , from IR beam to radio waves remotes. I saved all remotes on the Flipper, job can't be more entertaining than that 😂🤣😁
Ordered mine a few months ago, but still waiting. U.S. Customs currently has seized the shipment of 15,000 Flippers and they are still awaiting release.
Gonna have to look into this a little more... Might be similar to what I'm looking for; looking for a tool to use with different electronics in vehicles in for repair, like an extension of the scan tool or TPMS tool
That's what I was wondering if it would be useful for, like in conjunction with my obd2 - wifi dongle, could open a lot of doors. Also those pesky ir remotes I keep losing 🤣👍
I mean no offense, @tmtjg3, but it probably won't fit the bill for what you're looking for, unless the vehicles you're repairing rely on a lot of radio signals of varying types (RFID, NFC, Sub-1GHz, etc...). You'd probably have your money better spent by either building something custom or looking for a more professional tool.
@@DJBillyQ Thanks for the info. Running a shop, I have countless things on my mind at one time. Thinking about 1 controller for the garage door openers that's different so nobody can take it and claim it's theirs, and I'm always thinking of ways to make diagnostics a little easier. My other thought was something to test the parking or distance sensors for output. To be able to activate the sensor and wave a device X feet away from said sensor and said device can tell you what frequency and signal strength the sensor is outputting. Just thoughts but someone more knowledgeable about this device would definitely know way more than me about if it's even possible for these to be made

Having said that, I hope that it doesn't get outlawed or anything stupid. Tons of TikTok users are posting less than desirable activities with these guys. Also, new units are still open source lol still able to be used for all kinds of cool stuff
At some point someone had this all put together, and they thought to themselves "I think I should build a case for it." Then 3d printing came along and said "let's print a case for it." lol
Every time I hear thingiverse I get mad. Wish they didn't use Raspberry Pi for their servers and didn't do bad stuff. Nowadays Printables is the new go-to website for 3D print models for me.
Is it worth buying if I have cats that have rfid collars for their food dish and trying to make custom babygate doors because we have a 10month kiddo that is all over the place

Well done for making it even easier to break into people's keyless car's and steal them. I wonder how many billions of £ worth of strolen goods will be taken due to this tiny little device and how many will be confecscated from law enforcement 🤔
Why didn't you redesign the hinges so they fit screws you actually got.. sometimes finding the right screws is harder than redesigning a 3d model... Also it can cost some money as sometimes you gotta order 100pieces of more to be able to buy some kind of a screw or part etc.

I love using mine for controlling ir and sub gigahertz devices

Try to make a 3d print that's bullet proof using fiberglass strands and a resin that uses graphene from the flash graphene process.

noticed you used the bambu in this video. How's the machine working so far compared to the other printers you use?
It’s been a lot of fun to use. There are bugs I encounter and the Bambu team has been quick to respond and quick to fix as well.

I recently connected an ESP32 WROOM wifi module to mine with the GPIO pins and have used it for some fun SSID beacon attacks/pranks lol
