I love the new album! I love all your work. I never appreciated Heavy Metal music until I heard your Sound of Silence and from there I listened to more of your work. My grandkids can't believe I like Metal lolol, I might be old but I can appreciate talent.

I for one am very glad that Disturbed put out the song. Awareness needs to be raised. The song is very good for doing just that. I am 62. I moved away from where i raised.my kid's. My late husband was born and raised in the town i moved from. It was hard on me to see young people that i seen grow up take the paths they were taking in life. My youngest son and my girl both became drug addicts.
Brilliant interview. Mr. David Draiman himself is one of the most intelligent & inspiring human being I've ever met in my entire like. As far as I enjoy the new album Evolution album, I must admit that it ain't my number one favorite but I am definitely NOT disappointed with the new sound. I'm pretty glad to hear they're moving to a different route to make their sounds a bit different compared to their other previous albums. They're still a Hard Rock & Heavy Metal band. I've always been a fan of Disturbed for almost 10 years from now. Evolution is a good album & I appreciate the band's success of their new record.
David Draiman has got to run for president someday. He would change the nation. (I don't live in the USA).
David is an intelligent articulate person who is an exceptional businessman. He makes magic with his band, and the guitar riffs and drums are amazing. David has an absolute stunning wife, and cute little boy, he will succeed in many projects, mistakes and all, he has lived an interesting life

Oldfield. David would make that song come alive just like he did with
the "Sound Of Silence" Anyone feel the same? If any of you know how to get a hold of David, maybe you could see if he would go for it. David would make that song explosive! Ya think? :)
That explains why Evolution isn't a track on the album just the album name, it was thought of when everything else was done

Too bad about the peircings- it's always been a part of his 'thing',hate to see him without them ,even if he does sing like an angel..horns,or halo...loved that about him...I didn't even notice in Sound of Silence-it was so powerful, but now,every time I watch it I'm going to go,'Damn.'

"we will make the people feel that there is hope", great, but that was better achieved with the last records, with powerfull and straight forward songs, in my opinion.
This dudes voice is so unique different then anyone Iv ever herd Nd its Dio strong he actually sings as oposed to other groups that scream like they aint got no sence and they make no sence cant hear lyrics or melody Metallica is the only band that can pull off having a singer that cant sing but hes. Good shouter and that gets the croud fired up.. Disturbeds version of Metallica's Black was better than Metallica's but metallica can write some good songs they should of got James vocal lessions years ago they would have been that much better..(Metallica) thats my unprofessional musically inclined openion.
Let me just say... depression sucks.
I appreciate the talent in the softer vocals, truly, but I feel like there were too many soft songs in this one. Kinda disappointing. 2 ballads would be my max in an album from a band as badass as this.
"Softer" songs equally have (if not more) more meaning and power than "heavy" songs. They can be more thought-provoking and touching and this has been proven with Evolution. To be badass doesn't been blurting out x12-16 hard rock/metal songs. Music isn't that simple.
kostakosg its not even the fault of the soft ballads, its that when theyre supposed to go hard they dont. Its like getting build up and build up for more and more and then no climax, no finish no satisfying conclusion to the build up. Its just disappointing tbh. If I were to change it Id change the song order and remove 1-2 ballads and go super hard instead of those 2 and boom an instant masterpiece... They just saw the amazing success The Sound of Silence yielded (rightfully so though, it was a great cover) but they went waaaaay tooooo much on soft songs. Its like when a good show does something good but has no goddamn idea what the fuck they did and are trying to "recapture the lightning" and just redoing it too much. It doesnt feel right now...
They will still release more albums, this band should absolutely not be remembered for their Heavyness and random animal noises, just appreciate their slow stuff lol.

The creative from this guy is gone long time ago. He's making the same shit, nothing different, with Disturbe and with his own project, Divice.
His top was the first 3 albums with Disturbe. That's it.
