For some reason it was not until I watched it a second time that my brain realized that "Will Hurt" is his name, and is a spoof on "Max Payne" and then they just riff on actual book naming schemes..
The actor who plays Mr Door is fantastic, and he's got a great singing voice too.

Definetely... that song instantly planted itself in my head and is here to stay for weeks now. Remedy is just amazing with the music in their games.
This DLC was kinda short, but like…. I love it. Remedy going full weird is always worthwhile.
Just starting with the intro bit, I *love* that it outright states in the title card that it's an episode written by Alan Wake, and Door calls it a "Cult Classic". We've known from way back when that Alan *did canonically write* for Night Springs before his writer's block. This may well have been an episode he wrote in the past, which echoes down in the present. I love this stuff.
Also: Those character names in the subtitles are great. "Guy Who Only Eats Burgers" deserves a hug.
The lore implications of Time Breaker are so mind boggling. All I know for certain is that Quantum Break was definitely supposed to be a prequel to Control

I didn't notice till rewatching this, but in Time Breaker every shift shows a symbol on the screen - symbols for each different reality. Also Tim Breaker's jacket patch changes in every shift to be the shape of the reality he is in. Presumably these also relate to the doors in the Oceanview Motel.

I would watch someone else who did a lp or a vod of their stream of it. I remember watching someone play it when it came out and it didn’t seem that interesting. Also I believe there was a show that when along with quantum break.
when I tell you I saw this video and GASPED... both Jesse and Remedy comin thru. this was amazing. I wish so creatives would get weird more often as Remedy has been doing. plus, I feel like it's interesting how things like the MCU can cause folks to be so fatigued at the word "multiverse", whereas in this, I'm actually excited by it
I feared that Jesse would pick up the book immediately and then wouldn't be able to read the rest of them, well I clearly didn't have to :D

Choosing to follow the red haired woman can lead you to Lisa who is a dancer. She wears a spiral charm on a necklace, she doesn't remember you. You end up with her. Sean keeps acting but stays away from making games, he throws away his multiverseral tools in different ways you can choose. Lisa hurts her ankle. She either cancels her big show or doesn't. If she cancels, you take a vacation in Washington renting a cabin. She has dreams about the multiverse every night. If you tell her it's real, she finds the tools in the cabin where they were not stored, and jumps into the multiverse.
In another branch the world tree in the desert grows into a concrete building. An agent named Jessbeth runs the building
This 100% reads like any lore-heavy tv-series which has been going on for 60+ seasons and has only just found mainstream appeal so the people who have been watching for the past years try to explain the plot to people who just found the series. Explaining things that happened with terms only long-term viewers would understand. That or a very severe fever dream.

Just here to say that the “Time Breaker” episode has MULTIPLE ROUTES in the text adventure section. They all END the same, but in total, there’s like 4-6 different routes with VERY interesting info (ex. One route is waging war on Door alongside Jesse and alternate Tims, one is a “let me forget this ever happened” route, etc.)
Same Lake wrote the script where Same Lake, played by Sam Lake is making fun of Sam Lake, the person who wrote the script...

I think the werewolf was when I realized this DLC wasn't taking itself seriously.
I was so hyped to watch Jesse play this and I was not disappointed. Jesse and the Remedy-verse is just perfection!

Is Time Breaker a semi-public admission that Remedy is making a Quantum Break sequel? Sam says it's nice to have Shawn back, and that they are making a second game, with FMV, like the last game. Quantum Breaker was partially live action.
Also remember how Joyce promised Beth he'd be back for her at the end of Quantum Break? 3:01:36

I think the notes in (the Sibling) change places depending on what order you find them. The stash notes do that too. "Ill come back for them"

isn't Mr Door the guy who died he also voiced the vanguard leader from destiny. Also isn't the VA for The Sibling also voiced Aqua from KH BBS?
Mr door is an alternate version of the same character as mr hatch from quantum break, who was played by the same actor as Zavala, lance reddick. Aqua however is a completely different actress, the sibling is Courtney hope
