    Well thank you very much for asking my question and sticking to it. For a moment I thought there was going to be a sidetrack and I would not get my answer. However, you stuck with it and I got an excellent answer. There was no need to give me credit for the question but what an honor to be mentioned on your vlog.
    Salatin is indeed an incredible man and his ideas are so original. I will look forward to any more you publish.

    Yes, and it became a very clear answer only because you continued to pursue it. I learned so much more and have a very great new concept in my brain.

    We have Kunekune pigs. They graze on our Florida grass like a cow. We have a big pen for them but we also rotate them through pasture using moveable electric fencing. They are sweet gentle pigs and don't tear up the yard or challenge our fencing. They are homebodies lol.
    They do root a little..not deep but if there is a tasty root near the top of the soil they will dig to get it. They like to be petted and roll over if you scratch them, like a dog lol.

    • @TheKraemerLife
      @TheKraemerLife  Před 3 lety

      It is interesting how different the types of pigs behave and what they are interested in....rooting vs. grazing.

    pigs are the gentlemen that pay there rent love it.. yahweh Elohim's creation is just breath taking, isn't it? as we watch over His creation we learn how he does things through his creation, just watch and learn and apply, and repeat. thanks guys.

      I have my pigs goats and chickens together. The pigs are kunekune so don't go after chickens for snacks but the chickens clean the goat and pig manure! Its great!!!

      @@solsalia I too have kunekune, I was thinking about having some of my chickens fallow behind the pigs for them to scatter the pig manure. Thanks for letting me know that it’ll work.

    Awesome video I wonder if pigs would do same with grain in stead of corn.

    Awesome...awesome...awesome! Loved it! I posted this question below on Sean’s channel as well but...
    💰The 1 million dollar question 💰
    I’d love to hear your thoughts (and the other homesteaders that were with you - might repost it on their channel as well.)
    Did you take anything away from that experience that you are now looking to change (add, subtract or modify) on your homestead? And if yes... why?

    • @TheKraemerLife
      @TheKraemerLife  Před 3 lety +1

      Good question! For me, I want to try to raise pigs like he does, it is the opposite of how I saw it as I grew up so I'd like to give it a go.
