When you no someone is sick (and likely hurting) but they appear calm and stoic, like they haven't a care in the world? That's called class
Much appreciated mate,

Thanks mate, much appreciated

Hi Matty. This is a great little build. You make it look easy. Hope your treatment went well and your not feling too off. You called yourself lazy but i highly doubt that is the case. You're doing stuff and mzking these videos for us to sit on our backsides and enjoy. Get your legs under you and dont rush. We'll be here.
Gday, This was a great build and really good practice in tight tolerances, I do get lazy trust me but I really enjoy making the content and hopefully encouraging others to have a go at making things they normally wouldn't, Appreciate you watching and commenting mate, Cheers
There’s a dearth of good content from my (extensive) list of subscriptions on Thursday mornings (UK time) so thank you so much for what you do. Wishing you a full and speedy recovery Marty. Mike
Thanks very much mate, Appreciate you watching and commenting...
You made a stunning job of that Matty! Keep rolling with the punches buddy, hope round 2 is not too rough. Cheers, Jon

G'day Matt. I hope all went well with today's treatment.
A fantastic build of this kit. Top job mate 👍👍👍
Gday, Today went well overall, about 6 1/2hr in the chair this time, Thanks for watching mate, Cheers
I like the threader you just made because it really keeps your hands and fingers out of harms way when it is threading your work piece. Rest up Matty, don't over do it you have to recharge your body after a treatment. I know because my best friend is going through it with brain cancer, and I take him to all his treatments, some days it is good after the treatment , we even go to dinner in a steak house. so Cheers always
Gday, this design really has a lot of advantages I think, appreciate you watching and commenting, cheers
Great work mate a tool of beauty....looks like a fun build
Gday, this was a really enjoyable build and good practice on tight tolerances, thanks for watching, cheers
Appreciated mate, go well with the next round of chemo

Thanks Matty. Hope the chemo is bearable and you feel better as the treatment progresses. Another excellent build!
Gday, the treatments are knocking me around a bit but it’s got to be done mate, appreciate you watching, cheers
Hang in there Matty, hopefully the future chemo sessions don't hit too hard. Great to see you back in the shop for what looks like a very useful addition to the shop made tools.
Regards from Canada's banana belt.🤞🇨🇦🍌🥋🇺🇦🕊️🇦🇺🐨👍
Gday, chemo is knocking me around a bit bit that’s life mate, the reward at the end is worthwhile, appreciate you watching, cheers
Nice job Matty. You will hit 20K with no problem. Take care of yourself.
Thanks very much mate, appreciate you watching, cheers
Your quite the metal guru - nice job with the threading it does spin good. Good prang, I usually bust the tool as well! All the best Matty
Gday, I was pretty cranky when it all went wrong but somehow the cutter survived, Thanks for watching mate, Cheers
Beautiful work, hope round two goes well and you don’t feel too💩. 👍🏴
Thanks mate, round 2 went ok but feeling it now, cheers

Gday, It really is a great design, simple and it works, Thanks for watching, Cheers
You deserve all the support you are getting Matty. And then some.. Great build showing your skills and honesty, so thanks again.
Thanks very much, the support has been amazing mate, cheers
God Bless you and your Family We will keep you in our Prayers.
Thanks very much
The unplanned decorative machining at 29:08 should go viral on machining channels to show the effects of unbalanced vise loading. We can all learn from this. At least the tool didn't break !
Gday, this was a perfect example, hopefully many will benefit from it mate, cheers
Hi Matty That was a neat little build. I am intrigued by the clutch mechanism. Looking forward to the next build. I hope everything went well with the treatment.
Gday, The clutch works surprisingly well and it locks up solid, way better then I was expecting, Appreciate you watching and commenting, Cheers
Bloody fine engineering skills Matty. I'm rooting for ya mate. Take your time and if you feel a bit crook, lay off a bit, we can wait and if you didn't have a cock-up now and then you wouldn't be human. All the best.
Gday, thanks very much, a little cock up now and then happens mate, appreciate you watching and commenting, cheers
began watching last night but ended up finishing today, thanks for keeping us updated with your health, Matty, keep going strong. Enjoy watching your experience and builds, much appreciated.
Gday, appreciate you watching and commenting mate, cheers
That was a beautiful job Matty. You certainly can call yourself a machinist of the highest calibre! ( true machinists are allowed only one fuck up per job so you're on the money mate!) Your finishes are bloody awesome ! Good luck for your next treatment my friend. And don't rush back out to the workshop if it knocks you about a bit. We can wait! Cheers from England, Sam
Gday, Im still only a hobbyist thats self taught mate, I got luck on this build with only the one fuck up thankfully, Thanks for watching mate, Cheers
@@MattysWorkshop self taught or not mate, you'd shame some so called professional "machinists" all day every day!
My thoughts exactly! I was about to post a comment on his finishes but thought I should take a look and see if someone has beat me to the punch. His finishes are incredible! And most importantly he needs to take care of himself.
Great job as usual, hope you don't feel to crook after the treatment. It's a cruel world when an absolute top guy as yourself get the dreaded human rust. I just hope that the treatment is successful sooner rather than later
Gday John, treatment went well but starting to feel the effects and the next few day will be ordinary id say, Im confident the chemo will do its job but only time will tell mate, Appreciate you watching and commenting, Cheers
Absolutely made my morning Matty. The filming to the finish part was more than first class. I am so glade to see one of us felling better, cause the MaPom they are pumping in my vains really suck. Thinking of you after, and Keep on Let us all know how you are progressing. I am on my third round of chemo this coming Monday. Number 2 blow my doors off. Not sure if I will make all 6, but going to give it Hell! Bear
Gday Bear, second round went ok but feeling it now, we just have to keep on going mate, stay strong 💪🏻
Hi Matty
Great to see you doing well, hope the next treatment is easier than the last. As far as the die holder goes, jobs a good ‘un.
Always like your videos, no time wasting repeating yourself, just good honest machining, warts and all.
Gday, thanks very much for your positive feedback, the treatment is knocking me around a but that’s to be expected, appreciate you watching mate, cheers
Good to see you in the shop doing what you enjoy.
Thanks mate, Best place to stay active, Cheers
For anyone interested it is really worthwhile watching his previous videos they are all top notch

A very small amount? A “poofteenth” of course !
Thats it mate

Nicely done Matty, the die holder looks great!

I don't know if I would ever use a tool like this but the quality of the kit really makes me consider buying them to have fun machining them in some spare time. Another great shop tool build Matty.
Gday, this was a really good build and good practice in tight tolerances, appreciate you watching, cheers

Hi Matty, outstanding work buddy. Keep up the good work.I hope everything goes well with your treatment, Hang in there buddy. Stand strong. Your going to beat it..
Gday, the chemo has knocked me around a bit this time but that’s to be expected, cheers
20.3K. Three days later! Congratulations Matty! Hopefully you are doing well, looking forward to seeing more of your work, always a treat.
Gday, hard to believe the channel has grown this big, thanks for watching, cheers
Another beautifully made piece of kit Matty, you should be proud. I have just started making a new button die holder myself, but my little homemade lathe would struggle to hold the tolerances needed to make something like that. I hope the Chemo doesn't knock you around too much, I watched my dear old dad go through it 25+ years ago, but I'm kind of assuming they have managed to refine that gunk a bit since then. 👍
Gday, This was a great build and good practice in tight tolerances, Im have the treatment call RCHOP which I believe has been the same for many many years, Thanks for watching mate, Cheers
@@MattysWorkshop I really don't know what dear old dad had, but he was in Japan in the Peace Corps, based in Hiroshima 6 months after they nuked the joint, and he spent 6 months driving around through there in an open jeep. The cancer he had was some rare thing, according to his oncologist, he had never ever seen in an adult, only small children. Hang in there 👍
That is an awesome die holder, and I enjoy watching you work with the commentary. We are praying for you and the family.
Thanks very much mate, cheers
Seems like a nice bit of tooling to have. Enjoyed watching it. Hope you bounce back from this round quickly.
Gday, This was a really enjoyable build and the tool works quite well, Thanks for watching mate, Cheers
Matty nice bit of kit!

GOOD morning from Oregon Matty hope your doing well!! Got me coffee and stayed upto catch your video.. CHEERS!!🙏👍 Works quite nicely mate!!
Gday, I hope you enjoy the video mate and your coffee, cheers
That's a pretty cool die holder ... and incredible workmanship on your part!
I'm guessing the handle really only needs to be strong enough to engage the clutches.
Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
Gday, this was a great build and good practice in tight tolerances, the clutch locks up quite easily, thanks for watching, cheers
Awesome job as always Matty.
Thanks mate
You really are doing some great work. Kind of amazing given your circumstances. Hang in there!
Very nice build! Looks like it works really well. A lot more complicate than a short handle you just let go of at a shoulder, but really nice to see how it works.
Good luck with the chemo. Hope it works well for you and you dont feel too crap!
Gday Robert, this is a great build and really good practice working to tight tolerances, appreciate you watching and commenting mate, cheers

Gday, Handmade tools are much better then buying something to giveaway, Treatment went pretty good but starting to feel it now, I think the next few days I won't be doing much at all mate, Thanks for watching, Cheers
An amazing tool👍
Thanks mate
It's good to see you making things , I'd guess you'd say "what else would I be doing " Good luck on the treatment.
Your spot on there mate, what else would I be doing, treatment went well but the next few days are going to be ordinary id say, Thanks for watching, Cheers
@@MattysWorkshop I'm 60 and had scare last year it turned out not to be cancer but there were a couple other issues I'm dealing with it had a check up and things are getting better . Take care . If you feel crappy after treatment I won't fault you for taking a day off

Nice bit of kit Matty.
Nicely made and i assume the clutch faces must remain oil free to avoid slippage.
Gday, the clutch cones are ran dry and need to be a super smooth polished surface to prevent galling, appreciate you watching mate, cheers
I've been thinking about making this, might try following you along. Hope the treatment's going to plan, glad you're in the shop keeping busy. Take care mate.
