Carp Inlet Trail - Watercolor Landscape

A small 9"x6" (22x15cm) watercolor painting on 140lb rough cold press paper of the trail bend along the SE side of the Carp Inlet on Union Bay, Lake Washington in Seattle, WA. My focus was the puddles of water along the trail sides and how they reflect the overcast sky. This part of the trail is flooded often despite ongoing efforts of adding countless layers of gravel.
