In this tutorial, I’d like to discuss my best practices for DAX Calculations. This is Volume 3 of a video series that discusses some of the best practices I’ve incorporated throughout the years of my Power BI learning journey. I’ve consumed many resources which have been instrumental but has quickly become overwhelming. So I made my own notes that are easy to digest and hopefully these will be useful to others.

Out of topic question, can aggregation be used in scenario like : hit cache for recent data and hit SQL dwh for historical data? I read about filtered Aggs article from Phil Seamark, but it doesn't actually do aggregation rather it's two separate fact tables which are summarised in measures.
