This. People underestimate the power speed holds. In my town there is a road that has a lot of big trees next to it and people often speed on that road, slamming into the tree. Most of the times the car itself is reduced to a metal plate or a bunch of pieces shattered all over the field behind it, so I don't have to explain what's left of the drivers.

Actually thank you for speaking this way about speeding. Everyone accidentally or purposefully drives a bit over the speed limit sometimes, as long as it's barely noticeable it's not a biggie. But speeding to the point where it is dangerous is awful, idc about people not caring about being reckless, but the road's full of people and you bring others in danger while they are trying to drive responsibly. Every year thousands of innocent people die because SOMEONE ELSE was driving recklessly, it's devastating if you have to lose someone in such a way, it's often children crossing the road too.
