    I really like how you explain and describe each crystal. Most people read off the typical list, and you go a bit deeper in a more personable way. Thanks for making this video!

    Your thoughts on moonstone and labradorite were very interesting and fit me.
    I am also very attracted to these two stones and your video helped me understand why.
    Thank you!

    Loved this video. I’m new to crystals and definitely seen a few that I like from this list. (Especially going to keep an eye out for moonstone) at the moment I’m drawn to watermelon tourmaline, green aventurine and blue lace agate. Look forward to learning more ❤😊

      Thank you for watching! I'm so glad you enjoyed and found the information to be helpful. Those are some wonderful crystals you are currently working with. Blue Lace Agate was one of the first crystals I ever learned about and actually the first crystal I ever purchased as a gift for a friend. I love its soothing energy!
      Moonstone is so beautiful, I hope you find a piece you love! 💜💫

    Hello. I love your collection. 💜 Just wanted to ask a question. Are you familiar with gypsum and the differences in material? Because I do believe that your first two pieces are satin spar and not selenite. Selenite is transparent and isn't normally carved because of its delicate structure.

    Cool video! One question, did you get the citrine from a very reputable seller? Because to me it suspiciously looks a lot like colored and cut glass.

    • @eyeofazure
      @eyeofazure  Před rokem +2

      Hi, thank you so much for this question! I purchased that piece so long ago that even though I believed it to be real I wanted to make sure. My friend and I both purchased citrine pieces on the same day from the same seller and she works in the industry with some experts that know all of the tests to do to test the validity of a stone and I’m relieved and happy to say it is in fact legitimate citrine! I can totally see why it looks like cut glass on camera though. I had tried some of the tests here at home and all signs pointed to real citrine but I wanted to get some expert eyes on it to be sure. Thank you for watching!💫

      Thank you!💫 My crystal collection comes mostly from several metaphysical shops either local to me or in my travels. If you have shops local to you, I would recommend checking them out and supporting local to keep those places alive! You can also keep your eyes out for gem and mineral shows. Those are a good opportunity to find some special and more unique pieces! Another option is to check stores like Marshalls, Home Goods, and TJ Maxx. They will sometimes have nice pieces for reasonable prices although I’ve noticed it has gotten pricier as crystals have become more popular. You also have to be weary that some of the pieces they sell are fake or dyed but the same could be said for any crystal vendor(a lot of the time they don’t realize it is fake- sometimes it is intentional which sucks and hopefully isn’t happening in any shops near you). There is also some debate about how these crystals are sourced/mined if they are being sold in large stores like this so something else to keep in mind. I myself have only ever purchased a couple of pieces this way but you can occasionally find something cool and it is an accessible option for those just starting out. Hope that helps! 😊
