How does anyone know Daniel's dreams. Like Daniel said when Noa asked him it has always been "Expected" he would take over the Bakery....but is that actually what Daniel wants? Easy to blame Noa, because Daniel isn't doing what his family has always expected him to do.
Yup! It's crazy. As much as I love the Garcia's they didn't really create a space for their children to freely express their wants/needs.
Yes, mateo has a dream and daniel has a fantasy. Instead of taking on responsibilities, he blame vanessa for telling the truth.
I feel 2 sided with this scenario. One side is saying don't abandon your family. The other side is saying that you are a grown ass Man. And that you have a life of your own. If you find an opportunity for growth in any part of your life, take it. Life is too short, not to take a chance and become a better you. But, when money is involved lines get blurred especially when it comes to business and family.
eh it wouldnt be a big issue if he was doing something not just following noa around.
@@rc2369 I feel that maybe he is discovering for the first time, that he can be more. And he can be a better version of himself. And being with Noa is a bonus, because you are with someone who see's endless possibilities for you. Someone who see's that you can be more than a small time baker. You can be a baker and more, it shouldn't just be one and done.
Daniel is a grown ass man !!!!! But at the Same time his father spoke facts !!!, he's not living his dream he's only living Noa's dream
He’s not following his dreams. He’s following Noa.
Exactly what is that dream cause At the start when he was talking to Noa he said Running the bakery was expected of him thats Not his dream . He isnt Following Noa He is looking what else is out there and His father is Mad because He is gonna change his mind one day and see that The Bakery wasn't the Dream he had hope for . Plus The First step was to encourage him even though it might hurt them but instead they were worried about The Bakery His mom said " What about Us , what about the expandation what about the cafe " 🙂🤷♀️😬 like lady what about Him 🤷♀️💯
They want him to sacrifice his happiness and dreams like they did. They feel like he owes them. Nawww, they didn’t try to listen about if it was his dreams.
They didn’t like Vanessa for the same reasons they are shitting on Noa now, and that’s because they both thought that Daniel was and could be better than a baker.
That’s why he threw Mateo into the mix. Dad shitted in the music dream until Mateo stood up to him. That was ok, because he had Daniel to fall back on...because Daniel is the crutch. These parents are selfish
Yes! And it's complicated by the fact that Daniel hasn't asserted a different point of view for his life until now. Better late than never in my opinion. I think there's two reasons 1) he's had the bakery placed on him since birth and 2) the parents as loving as they can be, have never created a space for anything other than their hopes and dreams. It's a really interesting challenge for Daniel to work through.
Glad that Noa, innocently, saw something in him and opened him up to consider something else. She's the only person that was shown to take a sincere interest in what he wants since episode 1.
I'm still waiting for him to assert what he really wants though. I suppose the show is saving it for the finale - a moment where Daniel really says what he wants with conviction.
Facts!
Parents sometimes don't want to accept the fact that their child is all grown up and if he wants to go away somewhere, whether it's for a short while or long term, the has that right, and no longer needs their permission. Yet, they're acting like he's still a child who needs to run it by them when he wants to go over to his friend's house to play. Some parents just don't know what it means to let go.
Papa is right, he's acting like a child.

His family is insufferable. They're acting like he's abandoning them for forever. Its a very suffocating and smothering relationship.
