This is so helpful! Thank you so much for sharing! I will have a permanent colostomy April 17, 2024. I had a illeostomy for 3 months but it was awful. I had cancer at the time and couldn’t focus on what I needed to help myself. That was 17 yrs ago. Hopefully, this time it will be much better!
How are you going? I might wake up with one after my hysterectomy due to severe endometriosis affecting my bowel. I also have incurable thyroid cancer. Wishing you all the best.

I love your organization setup. My ostomy is about to turn 16 this year.
I was recently diagnosed with epilepsy 🙈🙈🙈and honestly I was already a shy more reserved person and since my diagnosis I became much more of a recluse. I have seizures every day and they are still embarrassing for me in public and even around family. Are you still experiencing some of those feelings with your new medical journey?
I do feel that way occasionally but since it is a part of my life now I just try to embrace it! People will understand!!
