Today I learnt that Crown Vic’s have the most ridiculously long reverse gear, the cops must have been chasing people in reverse haha
early 2000's reverse was like 2.32:1. so somewhere between 1st and second forward ratio. I don't think the interceptor was any different, except rear ratio. they may have changed it over the years too.
It probably was for backing out of threatening situations at speed

Crazy idea.... it would take a lot of planning, but I'd love to see you do crown vic racing at FF with actual blind drivers with the passenger giving directions. Could be funny and fun. I've become blind and really miss driving. Last car was a 2020 Veloster N that I only drove for 4 months before my vision dropped. Would "I" drive a Vic with 'anyone' giving me directions... in a hot minute !!! Pedal down hard, baby.

I think you guys should do a Mario Cart style race with the busted Crown Vics. Put some exercise balls on each car and when all yours get popped you are out. You can even do some kind of power ups including nitrous.

You need to make this an annual cops and robbers event, I would pay to watch that
5 STAR! Suspect car is a 2 man team in the fastest Vic youve got. "Robs" bank. Has to evade cops for 15 minutes. Start with 1 cop, add a cop every 3 minutes. That leaves you with 5 cops after you for the last 3 minutes. Spray paint big circles on the grass that if robber drives through it - all cops have to stop accelerating for 10 seconds... man i want to play this game RIGHT NOW

How about a relay style challenge? Set up a course through out the whole property then have 2 to 3 depending how many people you can get to drive. Each driver has to complete the course then change drivers until a whole team finishes.

Each leftover Vic would have a leftover barrel shoved in the backseat, filled with "whiskey", then you guys run a smokey and the bandit style course at the freedom factory (jumps, bumps, chicanes) with a special guest driver playing Buford t justice, if he catches you there's time penalty but whoever has the most whiskey left and shortest overall time wins.
Great excuse to wear fake mustaches, black cowboy hats and do what they say can't be done. Could even tie in some Bandit themed merch.

Round 2 of COPS AND ROBBERS: Marco Polo - Night Challenge. There were a few cars with the Spot Lights on them, hopefully they still run, or may have to improvise. Have the ROBBERS scatter and call Marco on the radio, then the ROBBERS have to shine their SPOTS into the sky (probably no less than 45-50 degree angle, just so James doesn't point at the ground). Maybe they have to have it on for a certain amount of time, then the COP has to hunt them down, in the dark.
Idea for bet up Crown Vic's is high speed corn hole race. For every lap at speed you have to also make one throw. Head to head or one at a time and make some kind of scoring system for combination.
This has been the biggest dream of mine ever since I was a little kid, and I'm so happy you actually did it.
Maybe next time invite the cops to race at one of your events it will be fun seeing them racing at freedom F
