- New bike day with the Liv Embolden 2. Cami's first full suspension! This is the initial review but we will come back in a couple weeks to do a more in depth review. This is the best budget full suspension mountain bike for women..... period. If you are a beginner MTB rider a good path to learning your basic mtb skills would be getting the LIv Tempt hardtail and then upgrading to the LIv Embolden 2.
As for value, well this bike has everything you want in a good trail bike. Maxxis tubless, air shocks, short stem, dropper post... and all that comes in at a price that is unbeatable by giant.

Loved hearing the new bike excitement. Love seeing the ladies out there crushing it.
Awesome! This is the bike I want to buy! I’ve been riding my cousin’s Giant Revel hardtail for the past year since I’ve just been getting started with MTBing. I really like it, and I’ve heard really great things about Liv which I understand is made by Giant! I’ve caught the MTB bug and I can’t wait to keep working at it!! I feel like having a full suspension would be a huge game changer.
It's a great bike. Full suspension will really change your riding 👌
Right on! My daughter got an Embolden last fall! Welcome to Liv life!
Thanks bud. Shes been living it on the Tempt Hardtail for the last two years but now its real deal!!!
Awesome Cami! Congrats on the new bike!
Welcome to the liv family! I'm on my 4th liv mountain bike. Started with a 2016 liv tempt and fell in love with riding and a year later got a 2017 liv embolden 1, year after the added a 2017 liv pique advanced, and the last year sold them and got the liv intrigue advanced 2! I will say I'm 5.3 and while a small fit me perfect for the 1st 3bikes, the small frame for the liv intrigue def runs bigger than the others. Out of them all I can honestly say the pique was my favorite!
@Bryan Davis just call some bike shops near by and see if she can test ride a Giant (same thing) or a Liv.
Thank you for posting this. We are looking at E version of this. One thing I would say is we were taught to always ride covering the brakes. That is, ride with your index finger on the brake lever. Or 1st two fingers if that's what you use.
Woot woot new bike day is always a great day. Love me some Chuck Lennon...Wild turkey is sooo sick!!!
It would be cool if you (Cami) made your own channel! I came to see if you had made any upgrades to your tempt and found you got a new bike (new to your channel). Welcome to the full squish crew, I ride a Liv pique most of the time. Also, still interested in the upgrades you’ve made to the tempt if you still have it.
We are in the process of making the Tempt a gravel bike which is really sweet ! Itll be on the channel soon
@@YourOwnAdventure nice! Looking forward to the video 🙂
Just did santos do you have a review on your bike rack????? Also congrats on fully
Awesome. Probably a great day to ride there. And yes I do have a review on it! Look up swag man mtb review and it should come up !
is that florida by chance? I'm moving back there pretty soon and will be looking for a MTB too. But I'm going to be going for a hard-tail.
It is Florida! Not the best trail but it's fun. Tons of riding down here. What kind of hrdtaol?
@@YourOwnAdventure actually I want to get into MTB street trials, so I'm thinking a used 26" with hydrolic disk brakes, somthing I don't mind smashing now and again.
@@BruceChastain That would be really cool. Maybe a Dirt jumper could be a nice inbetween or full on trails?
@@YourOwnAdventure I'm thinking just a normal MTB. The thing is I remember on Seth's Bike hacks that he was running a Trek 4700 or something like that, and he could do all kinds of stuff, so I'm thinking something like that. Oh yeah and with a dropper post too.
we should get together for a ride one day, I'll be near fort Myers, but I have family on near Orlando too, so I'll be traveling around.
I'm there so early that the video quality available is still 360P...haha.
Will check it again soon when youtube finishes processing it !
Ok, that's better in 1080P !
Stocked for Cami, Switching to a FS had a lot of great benefit for me (except for the pedaling efficiency, of course...), but it made me ride more and for longer, as I didn't feel "broken" as fast !
She is a cutie, by the way ! :)
Haha..yep did a early upload. I think this Saturday Schedule is going to be what I stick to this year.
@@bicross87 I think the bounce really makes things better. Also feels much better on the back 😋😋😋
Sick bike! Bet she's stoked. But your color grading is a bit depressing.
Haha I am stoked! And yes I went with a more orange/magenta look. Just messing around with it 👍👍🙏
Good for Cami
Only took 2 years of convincing 😂😂😂
just bought The Embolden 1 today, extra small
Hi How tall are you and how does the bike fits you?. I'm looking for my wife 5'1.
Hello! Do you know what the weight difference was between your Tempt 3 and this new bike?
Now the full suspension is 3lbs lighter because of the one by and air suspension
How tall are you? I am 5’2. I am debating between small and xsmall.
I am riding the small so you should be fine on that size. I'm 5'0"
Your Own Adventure thank you!
@@YourOwnAdventure Hi, did you demoed the XS and went for the S?
@@jernest3321 Just tried it at the shop and the S worked best
@@YourOwnAdventure So the one you are with in the video is an S, I'm right? I'm looking for my wife and we don't have access to demo one here. Wife is 5'1" and 27 inseam. Thanks for your fast reply Cami.
Is it light?
Eh. It's an entry level full suspension mtb. Not really designed with weight in mind. That being said, this small is much lighter than my XL full sus
