    Thanks for the video. Wish I'd seen the Timex when it first came out. Ideal all-round watch for me, and still looks discreet.
    A quartz watch gaining or losing a second a month is actually good. That's 1/30 of a second a day. But whatever the loss/gain, that's how it will stay.

    I love both G-shocks and Timex Ironmans; both such great durable watches. Just love em

    Me too my first watch was a Timex Ironman. So much memories. I wore it all my high school. I will buy one for nostalgia. At that price, why not ?

      Exactly my thoughts. The time between finding out it existed and having one in my shopping cast was not much more than a minute:) Lots of fun for the price. Thanks!

    Yup, my 1st watch was a Timex Ironman in the early 90’s. Loved wearing that thing!
    Terrific video, as always, Bob! 🏂

      I think mine might be still tucked away at my parents. They're out east unfortunately. Next time I'm there I'm going to try and find it. Thanks man!

    Always good to see a watch in the real world. Cool design with that keeper.
    Edit: Sorry looks like one of my addons freaked out and spammed that comment.

    Thanks for the review. A real tool-watch, I'm definitely getting one soon before it gets discontinued.

      You're probably right to grab one soon. Not likely to be around for long. I really like it and I'm sure you wont be disappointed. Thanks!

    What makes it a Todd Snyder collaberation ? It looks just like the regular Timex Ironman Shock ??? Are you not happy with 1 second/month accuracy !?!?!? That seems pretty impressive to me. Mine gains about 5 seconds per month. It is one of my most accurate watches.

    The Iron man is a great watch but has less "marketing" from Timex I think.

      @@TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces Just watched your 5610 review as well. What is your watch of preference between these two? I didn't realize you're in Canada too. This special edition Ironman although it sells for US$59, with the conversion, shipping and taxes, it comes up to $110 (is that how much you paid?), almost as much as the 5610 which is about $120. I do prefer the looks and functionality of the Ironman, just not ok with the total price to have it shipped to Canada. The regular Ironman is about $64 on amazon. Does the 5610 wear better? I'm worried about the smaller push buttons on it which a lot of people find hard to use. I like that it's solar and has the auto EL,

      @TimeToGoTravelAndTimepieces  Před 5 lety +1

      @@valueink I slightly prefer the 5610. I like the solar and the multiband function for travelling. The button size is definitely a negative vs the Ironman though.
