@@FayMew i dont think the actual dragging and tools are hard to use. But sometimes it's hard to figure out how to create a pretty shape. (Especially when I literally almost never seen a real house... I live in Hong Kong)
I love this. I was able to buy all the packs, now I can see all your masterpieces the way they are meant to be, and without substitutions or missing items. Your houses populate my world, when ever I can fit them.

I know I am very late but I just wanted to say that if you ever need to take time off you do not have to worry about it. My dad was just diagnosed with cancer in December so my family is having a hard time so I understand what you are going through like you talked about in your last video. Just know you will always have your followers here for you and if you need time off just it. You always bring a smile to my face even in these tough times and I hope everything and everyone in your family is going ok now, love the build to its beautiful like always.
At first I thought ea not wanting to straight wash the pack was a good thing but someone on Twitter really opened my eyes.
"Sticking to your values" and refusing to adjust the trailer & art for countries like Russia seems like a good move but it doesn't mean sh*t to the real people affected by this. For many many people who are experiencing homophobia this game is one of the only opportunities to live out their true selves.
And the only helpful thing to do is to do everything in your power to make sure that those people have access to the pack regardless!
The real people affected should always be the priority.
Tensions with Russia and Ukraine will stop that because EA is now political like every other American company

I'm back. Interesting idea by starting with the basement area, usually I fit that in later. I love the bedroom with the mirror behind the clothes and I'm definitely borrowing that idea. I also just noticed that we do a similar thing, picking out the objects we want first, spreading them out, then putting them in place.
EA has definitely made the wrong decision and made it more complicated in the process.

Another beautiful build, I've not watched much of your stuff lately, mainly cause I've not been that into the sims lately. But when I saw the thumbnail I had to watch.
Also thanks for talking about the Russia and wedding pack. I'd heard some stuff but not everything. I definitely agree, we need to know exactly why EA aren't releasing the pack in these places. It really doesn't make sense to me, especially as the sims is already rated 18. I feel bad for the players in these countries. They need to know why they're being excluded.

While I agree that people deserve answers as to why those countries won't be getting the pack, the Sims silence might be a legal issue. They're probably still trying to work things out behind the scenes and any good lawyer worth their salt would've told them not to say anything because it could be held against them and make any negotiations harder. Idk but when it comes to stuff like this, things are never cut and dry and from what information we have to go on it sounds to me like the Sims team is doing their best to maintain their integrity. So all we can really hope is that things get resolved and we get some answers, though people should be prepared to never find out the specifics (non-disclosure agreements are a thing).

How do you build the walkout basement without having to edit the terrain? I’ve tried just using the basement tool but there is gaping on the sides.

Kate how did you do the oversized arch? I can never get mine to be open all the way without a small cutout of the original shape.
The arch isn't attached to a wall, that's the trick :) I left a gap and placed it in between two rooms basically. Hope this makes sense

How do you make your basements to where you can see them from the main level?
You build the basement, click on it and go one level up. There will be a yellow line, you click on it and click on "Delete Ceiling" :)

has anyone had this problem before?? "the file size on this item is too large to be uploaded to gallery" i made this beautiful house and it won't allow me to upload it to share with anyone ugh, I never got this before and don't know how to fix it

Did you use a lot of no cc gallery art by any chance? I know this can cause this, in this case remove a couple of paintings and try again until it works 💚

I love this ❤but I don't get how you all can spend so much time on the game. Everytime I turn the sims on I have 2 furbabies constantly watching me can only be on the game for less than 1 hour 😤
You can just use build mode and you don't need money to build on a lot ..
Am not a fan of the wedding pack, not my cup of tea it's down there with my Pet stuff lol,
But it's a shame some places are not getting it hopefully they will at some point,

But I agree. That’s definitely weird to me that there are laws about Sims pack in other countries. Glad I’m in the USA where we are free …..for now.
They did it before on another pack and they doing it again with this one, nothing wrong with representation of straight and gays. This law is stupid in my opinion.
