Walking tour of Watford city center - Hertfordshire - United Kingdom

- Sunny Saturday and day off we go to walking through Watford's city centre, the High Street shopping district, which offers shoppers an eclectic mix of shops and restaurants.
Watford isn't technically in London. It's located in Hertfordshire, a county bordering London. However, it's still a very close neighbor and has some interesting connections to the big city.
It takes an average of 42m to travel from Watford to London by train, over a distance of around 15 miles (25 km).
Watford has a long history of brick production. The clay-rich soil made it a prime location for brickyards, and these provided the materials for many of London's famous buildings, including parts of the Houses of Parliament!
We also invaded Wetherspoons, the famous and traditional British pub “The Moon Under Water”, where locals eat and spend time as it is one of the cheapest places compared to other pubs.

This is such s depressing place to live. Every time i go to Watford i feel like i stepped inside a prison where all of the prisoners have been let loose.

not many closed down shops and boarded up like they are in other parts of the country shame about what has been done to the pond all the charm that it once had has been distroyed by someone's crap idea of nature what a shame it used to be so beautiful until club members form the then baylies night club which stood near by though concrete blocks and bear cans and pike fish in it .
Watford is not a city it is a town
Beautiful walk, feels like an English city most of the time. Absolutely not London style.
