For profile in investment management space there are ample job opportunities post CFA Level 3. However one should be mindful that no professional qualification only in itself assures a successful career. It's a gateway to opportunities. How one traverses the path is what defines his or her career and success
If you have studied SFM, preparing for CFA will hardly take 2 months
CFA Level 1 lately has become extremely competitive with the CFAI dropping the Level 1 clearing percentage.. The difference now and earlier times is about completeness, thoroughness and practice.. Yes with CA as background you do have a learning edge, but that edge now is not sufficient.. It is recommended you prep for the Level 1 exam comprehensively of course capitalising on your strength but at no point being complacent with coverage and difficulty level of the exam..
