I have tired to do as like as you what you shown in the video. But my mega menu is not showing / replacing the default menu. Could you please tell me the reason? Note: I have used twenty sixteen, seventeen and my Custom theme for this. But not working :(

I have exactly the same problem with both these plugins mega max menu and wp mega menu . Both of them didn’t support my theme perhaps. All the changes that i made in wp mega menu , have been never showed up in my site for unknown reason .

If you go to WP mega menu in theme settings, under brand logo you can delete or change the "M" logo.
