I love to play this song slower too and I love that you do too/and play with your heart, that is how it should be. no music should be played to be mundane . too often i see kids and adults playing memorized songs faster than normal almost just like a memorized accomplishment to get over with
This is the first yann tiersen piece we from 44notes learned many years ago and it is still our favorite piano piece! Nice performance keep up the good work!
You played the intro just once the second time, maybe on purpose. But I loved it. Amazing! I've been practicing this piece for 5 months now and I still play it worse than you. Well, I started learning to play the piano just 5 months ago. It's my first piece. How long have you been playing the piano? How are you learning it? Do you have like a tutor or do you go a music school?
Hi, I went to a teacher at the age of 8-14. After that I've never played again till i was 20. But good luck the skills were there to 100%. Sure I had to learn the pieces again, but it took me not longer as a day for a piece I already have played. This piece from Yann Tiersen was new for me and took me 3 days to play it quite well. It's also the day I filmed it. Of course I can play it faster, but somehow I like it slowed down. And yes, I know I play the intro just once the second time, I don't know why but I don't like it when it is played twice there, haha^^
Jan Schüssler wow, amazing! For me it takes a while to learn anything new because it’s very difficult for me to read sheet music. It takes ages. I’m also learning to play by chords, but I just started. I have no idea what I’m doing so far, but the most important thing is to enjoy it, in my opinion. And I do have a teacher, so... it’ll be fine! I’m looking forward to your new videos!
wait are you playing on a different piano every time or is there a panel that covers the buttons? xD hmm very mysterious , but hey well played, also do you create your own songs as well?
It's just a panel wich covers the piano keys and can shifted back either before or behind the buttons ;) Yes I have one ore two songs created by my own. Nothing fancy though. But maybe I'll find the time someday to record and upload them :D
