Except for SOC 🐻🖤💛 because we are an Inner City Traditional Public High School
5A will always get respect. Hopefully inner-city Dallas public schools keep growing and maybe move up to 6A, but it's cool if not Soc good where they are. I just wish my Velt Dawgs didn't drop down to 3A shiddd Soc used to be 4A. Everybody wanna live in Dville, Desoto, Lancaster, and Cedar Hill now. Mesquite use to be good. Mfs will say they stay at whatever address to go to play for the better schools around Dallas-Fort worth instead of building up their home school because that's thing to do mfs been doing it for years but now parents really got that money to move now lol

@@teezymaguire4110 And yes we used to be 4A the only 6A school in the District is Skyline. But just like you said people want to go to DVille, DeSoto, Lancaster, and Cedar Hill. It's unfortunate because those schools aren't average but SOC is slowly but surely making a statement so people won't leave no more.
@francisogbonna_ Yup, you're right. Soc has been making a big statement for a couple of years now. In my day, Carter and Skyline were the place to be, and then it was Velt and Soc. Coming from O.W Holmes, you knew where you were going, just like if you went to Atwell or T.W Brown. The landscape is so different now. I think Madison has been doing well in bball, and you don't even hear much about Lincoln anymore. I can't even remember the middle school everybody went to from South Dallas, lol I miss the good old days when you stayed on the side of town you grew up in and balled out for 1 or the other school in that area. I was in high school in Dallas when Chris Bosh was balling at Lincoln.That's how old I am lol
