Dream Concert . Susan T and Derek Trucks Band , Indiginious , Robert and family band , Warren Haynes and Little Feat , ending with the Allman Brothers band .
I will go to church anytime with Robert Randolph! I saw him about 7 years ago at Madison Ribberfest, and his band blew the concert out of this world! Rock on!
Saw him in Orlando and they rocked! After the show my GF n I went got a slice and a drink, headed for our car and we ran into him walking to a club, he invited us but we didn't want to impose on him, he talked with us for a few and took a couple of pics with us. I kind of wish we did take him up on his invitation and pick his brain on music but I'm sure once he was in da club people from the show were going to hound him we didn't want to be one of those people. He's a class act that's for sure.
Brooklyn Bowl 11/26/2013. These guys are all over the place! Lots of diversity: electric jazz, blues, Allman Bros, guitar jazz, Louisiana Styled blues rock, Jimi Hendrix rock-blues, 60s psychodelicia, and more! Lots of energy! These boys sweat up a storm pushing wicked riffs and licks and barn shaking vocals! I WILL go to this! Hard worker, class act, loads of entertainment!
Goddamn did anyone see them switching instruments mid song around 53:00 ish? The fact that they kept the song going STRONG shows how talented these guys are.
It's great that someone with all that talent on a pedal steel guitar, and who can sing so well is so 'down to earth'. I stumbled on a video of him and his Band on the Letterman TV show, and sought out some more of his work. I will now get some of his C D's. I am in the UK and run a Country Band with a pedal steel guitarist in in, thanks again for the info' Ron.
I posted the pictures we took on Facebook and posted them on his page and he sent me a thank you reply with a nice little message,so on top of meeting him I got that.I showed my GF the message and she got jealous cuz she didn't get one too. He definitely a cool dude and an awesome musician.
It appears that the techs that are there are not usually the ones he tours with and works with. I don't think he had a choice but to give vocal cues because the sound guys and techs didn't have a clue. I thought he did the best he could given the situation.
@markyncole..You're right...great guy..down to earth, humble..you should have gone..if he invited you it was sincere..I know Robert..a local guy from NJ..class act!
I'm Sorry Robert But Your Keyboard Player was a COMPLETE TURN OFF. Was She Playing ? Did'nt Look Like It To Me. What Was She Filling In For My Boy You Normally Have, Cause That's What It Looked Like.
I saw these guys when I was a freshman in college. They defined good concerts for me, and nothing has lived up to them since!

Take a second and imagine him and Sharon Jones working together. Just sit back and imagine the awesome.
4:00 -- give the man some reverb
Fuck that dude on the drums is unreal. Never heard fucking cracking and exploding drums before. Fuuuuuuuuck.
Muy pero muy bueno, very good
How Lucky You Were. I can't wait till some Concert Promoter Brings Him To Philly.

The man was not on it!
Music is not a color. Music is Music! FACT! Some people......

Anyone have the setlist?
the chick on the keyboard is definitely not "family"... love these guys !
Even JAZZ needs a MELODY Robert, more than YOUR noise!
You just must be too stupide to follow the melodies
@@wernermarti5472 That would have worked better if you spelled stupid correctly.
@@johnd5398 I know

I Truly Believe You
Who is the drummer?
@markyncole..You're right...great guy..down to earth, humble..you should have gone..if he invited you it was sincere..I know Robert..a local guy from NJ..class act!
does anyone know the name of the song that starts about 29:40?
good lyrics during the first 8 minutes. who wrote them?
REAL AN I MEAN THE REAL DEAL
anyone knows the name of the song that starts at 15:00? thanks
The March
Right as it came on I opened the tab and looked for the same thing, lol thanks for the clarification
The March
Is the girl on keys just there for decoration? Works for me.
watching it live from the 3rd row it certainly looked that way... was very strange.
She does sing and I can hear the keys. I think just mixed low. If for decoration they could get a hotter but more vain girl
Close, but its actually a pedal steel
Finally the audience got off their arses......
Who drums? I can ´t hear it well- 1:07:50
Carlton. I don't know his last name but he's usually playing drums when RRFB plays Europe.
Was that seriously a guy from the crowd that he invited to play?
Its a lap steel bud.
how are people sitting? Thats the real question
I always sit when I listen to music. I just sponge it up
0:40:40 moment of exticed
I think that was very considerate of you not to want to impose, I bet that does not happen much, and I bet he apreciated that.
How in the world do you watch this show live in stay in your seat!?! Get up and dance, you fools!!
I dont know,, looks like mike tyson playin steel guitar
I know, that was hilarious. He needs to work out some more discrete commands like James Brown.
You need some new roadies that know ho to set up properly.
Why isn't this chick playing some B3 or Rhodes patches. WTF?
that is an ignorant statement!
This is not a black music!!!
I'm Sorry Robert But Your Keyboard Player was a COMPLETE TURN OFF. Was She Playing ? Did'nt Look Like It To Me. What Was She Filling In For My Boy You Normally Have, Cause That's What It Looked Like.
Omg... I feel So Sorry..for that Drum Kit....ouch...
anyone knows the name of the song that starts at 15:00? thanks
The March! better late than pregnant
anyone knows the name of the song that starts at 15:00? thanks
that was a church March we use while the collection is being taken up, its jazzed up.
+luciok "The March" - as others have said, its a variation on a few traditional Gospel Marches, I think.
