I have to admit that Ms. Tamron Hall, Ms. Jennifer Hudson, & Ms. Sherri Shepherd owe a debt of gratitude to the late Ms. Della Reese who was the trailblazer for women of color, while getting her talk show back in 1969. 📺
I love Della Reese! I had no idea she had her own show. I gotta see if they have clips on CZcams. She was definitely a treasure in every role she played!
@Telly26, there are numerous people who have no idea about that bit of Black history in the entertainment industry. I had the opportunity of running into the late Ms. Della Reese & her husband at LAX airport during a layover trip back to Honolulu, Hawaii. I was returning back to the military base while serving in the United States Navy Submarine Fleet at Pearl Harbor in the past.
