The Sun's trading for Beal was one of the worst decisions of the 2020's. It's not that he's a bad player, he's just not worth that money he's getting paid. Imagine if the Sun's had some quality starters and role players around KD and Booker.

@andrewtesmer7021 I don't think any but the most die hard NBA fans can tell you 7 names on that team right now. I would even wager most fans couldn't even tell you who their starting 5 is.

I thought about that for a few because it sounded implausible. Minnesota is a small market team, coming up on cap issues trying to keep everyone for next year. Keeping KAT and Rudy Gobert isn't a great idea. It could happen if Kat gets traded for KD. It's tough though. With the Suns in that upper cap tier,the money has to match exactly.

The Nuggets are gonna be the new Spurs, they play basketball, slow methodical basketball, they emphasize execution, they make the right decision, they believe in their rim attacking, they make the game a 2pt shootout and they move the ball around
i think if you're referring to the david robinson spurs, you're right. if you're referring to the latter TD era spurs teams who shot alot of 3s, the celtics are probably the closer comp stylistically. both teams though arent really too similar to the spurs as their key personnel play differently. there's just similarities in playstyle,

As a magic fan, we need to go all in on PG 13. Franz, Paulo and PG would be a problem. Remove klay thompson from our thoughts, no matter how bad we need shooting
Please no. PG13 vanishes in the playoffs. In an offense with Franz & Paolo, he's ball dominant and iso ball won't work. I would like a point guard who can defend, facilitate, & shoot the 3 efficiently. Our offense is very ugly to watch especially looking at how bad floor spacing & the shooting is. I agree on that Klay take 100% tho.
The Suns are the league's poster child for iso play. They are loaded with iso talent - stars who need the ball in their hands.

Suns biggest mistake imo was trading bridges cam n cp3 to go all in for KD the team had huge chemistry n those were the player that changed the culture. They should’ve traded ayton before giving him the extension n build a solid bench but they decided to do a nets n go all in

@@sting114 Mitch didn't play much defense.....and he put big numbers on a lot of bad teams. But he was definitely a talented player..... could score points as good as anyone.
Curry, Lebron, Durant, We are seeing in our very own eyes the end of an era. We need to appreciate them more while they’re still on the league.
Honestly, all 3 could team up on the warriors next year and it wouldn't really be that big of a superteam anymore. They'd still be competitive with the other contenders, but not a superteam that completely dominates like it would have been 5 or 10 years ago

The Magic don't need Young at all. With respect to Klay, If they sign him, I expect it to be front loaded and will be no longer than 2 or 3 seasons. Most likely with a team or Player Option in the last season. That is the standard contract that the team likes to give players. I am not 100% on board with Klay due to injuries and age.
People were hyping up this Suns so much after Beal signing, I even heard the term "steal trade". And I'm not talking Twitter shit, but people in sports' media and now that's gone they are nowhere to be seen and are pointing fingers towards the roster building

The Orlando take was wild because they are just too young, but i really like the idea of Trar Young. The question is: what would it cost to get him? You might end up giving uo some of the players that made the team an interesting spot for him, defense wise.
KD doesn't really care about basketball like that anyways, its just a scrimmage for him. He doesnt have a single competitive bone in his 7ft body

Trae to Orlando would actually be a perfect fit. They’re a primarily defensive team, young, and in need of another star. Trae fits the bill and doesn’t hemorrhage the defensive intensity they have all that much.
While CP3 is old the suns shot themselves in the foot when they decided a 🧁 and a pair of 2 guards would be a good lineup. As for the magic I wouldn’t want any part of Trae Young, he’s just looking for his and and I think would harm the development of a young team

Ant is currently not better than Tatum, sure he can and has potential, but rn he still isn’t. Tatum has better stats and his resume is better, no matter the turmoil on the Celtics team he is always playing as many games as possible. Also for those that don’t know Tatums ability to score on his own or something, yal gotta remember 2021 vs the nets

@@alexescutia4805 if he could do that 3 years ago at age 23/24, what makes you think he cant do that now, as a more experienced player and a better overall player? ant is really really good dont get me wrong, but i dont belive he is at this moment better than a guy like tatum. also we criticize tatum for a "super team", meanwhile ant has kat gobert mcdaniels conley naz reid and NAW. a lot of great players on that team outside of ant too

Start over how... they dont really have much to bargain with... and no picks in the forseeable future... Booker is probably the only great asset they have... Allen would be a great roleplayer but now also has a hefty contract...
You might be able to still get a first and maybe a couple of seconds for Durant. Then deal Booker for what.... maybe you get three firsts....or two firsts and a couple of seconds? It's not great but then they'd at least have some draft capital to work with in terms of starting over. I mean, what's the alternative? An early playoff exit again next year....and then they're the worst team in the league until at least 2031....? They're really in a bad spot.

I think Van Fleet is a good fit for the Suns…he did a great job running the offense for the Rockets. IMO, Van Fleet is one of the main reasons why the Rockets are decent this year.

If all healthy, idk who is making the playoffs in the west. The Grizzlies at full health are a top 5 team, but so are the pels and kings. Warriors also are playoff level. Some of the teams are going to miss the playoffs and it's going to be interesting to see who misses it

I don't think the Warriors are much of a playoff team anymore.....but the west is definitely loaded. I think the team to watch is the Spurs. They've got a ton of draft capital as well as salary cap space to work with. They could conceivably get really good really fast.

The Warriors would have still won without KD. The obvious: they won before and after him. KD hasn't done well since he left. What we've learned: super teams don't win Championships anymore. Raptors, Bucks, Nuggets, have proven that.

Also, Bradley Beal has a no-trade clause, meaning he has to approve any trade he is involved in; I doubt he want to go to ATL and play with Young when he could stay with Book and KD

Cleveland would be a good fit for Bradley Beal to replace Donovan Mitchell who seems not too interested to stay in Cleveland.
