In the heart of Belgium, an erstwhile bustling town cafe now sits in quiet solitude. Mr. Pierre and Mrs. Jeannine White, its devoted proprietors, had poured their hearts into this cafe, which adjoined their home. But life took a cruel twist when Mr. Pierre White lost his beloved wife, and his own health began to falter. Because of this, the cafe, once alive with laughter and cherished moments, succumbed to the somber fate of permanent closure.
The passing years bore witness to Mr. White's declining health, eventually confining him to his home, where he became hospitalized in his bedroom. Five years ago, as he drew his final breath on his own bed, it was not only the cafe but also the home now that slipped into abandonment, relinquished to the relentless grasp of nature.
Today, time stands still in this place. The hands of the clock echo this stillness, refusing to march forward. With no heirs or kin to claim the property, it sits abandoned, awaiting a savior to resurrect its former magic and breathe life back into its silent halls.

Im older now, and have a small home like a museum, plus 3 sheds, with everything special that belonged to my family, my adopted family, and my husbands family. No one wants it but us. Ae have one of everything! I pray I can sell or give away our precious things before this home becomes abandoned. Your videos help keep me grounded in reality that I dont want everything abandoned.
We're getting older also, it is my wish to give everything away while I can but my husband wishes to keep everything. I do not want my house to become abandoned.

Completamente de acuerdo, yo tampoco quiero que mis cosas queden en una casa abandonada, es mejor ir regalando nuestros objetos más preciados a familiares o amigos que sabemos les van a gustar, antes que a nuestra muerte se las lleven los ladrones. También está la opción de vender, siempre habrá interesados en comprar objetos antiguos y el dinero que se recaude utilizarlo en un un viaje de placer, etcétera. Saludos 🙋♀️

Lovely vid Remon mentioned he couldnt envisage an old man ill sleeping here near a busy rd, i reckon he loved the noise as he ws used to hustle and bustle of his bar and so the noise calmed him x its always betrer in my opinion to be at home when your about to depart from this world where your surrounded by comfort x

Oh how much i miss Belgium! Belgian houses are always the cutest and the coziest 🥰😍 They just give that warm feeling like you are in your grandparent's house, you just feel love ❤ And this video is like two explores in one! We got to explore the house and the cafe, so unique and i enjoyed it! But sad a the same time to see it neglected, i hope one day someone will look after it and give it life again before it's too late! Because i can imagine how nice it used to be when it was active and welcoming people, especially on holidays! 😍 Sad to imagine that man spending his last days in his house on that hospital bed and losing his life there 💔 It is really frozen in time, everything is left behind and a lot of interesting stuff to see. Hey dear Maureno, This was certainly once a very cozy and welcoming location, a cafe somewhere in Belgium, where you really loved going to have a drink, something to eat and a nice talk back in the active days of that location. It is actually a pity, that this kind of old fashioned cozy cafe is getting nowadays rarer and rarer to find in our towns and villages. - I loved following you and Remon through the abandoned rooms of this cafe. Again the start with your wonderfully formulated introduction with a poetic melancholical touch was a pure delight to listen. - Luckily the whole place was still in such a good state of preservation and also not showing any kind of vandalism, that I had the impression of stepping in mind together with you in a legit time capsule. When watching, I couldn't help feeling a somehow sad atmosphere in that place. You also approached very respectfully the life of the former owners. - Also so touching to see a lot of personal items like photographs or their lovely porcellaine figurines standing everywhere.

This looks like its just a little quick stop cafe for a drink or coffee. Such a cute little cafe.
It must have been heart breaking when the gentleman had to be bed ridden, i would love to be in a position to buy this and open it back up. This video made me very sad,this place longs for someone to open it back ip and get people coming in for a cup of coffee of crab a quick mug of brew

The yellow hazard buckets are for chemotherapy waste. Red is for biohazard, item soaked in blood or other body fluids..
The hospital bed was the dining room. It is big enough to have the “card” table and cabinets in the other room.
The cooking grease is most likely animal tallow (fat) or possibly called lard.
What you have to remember is that back in that century, all animals were hunted for food. It would be disrespectful to throw away any part of the animal. You should use every part of the animal. Now meat is purchased from the stores, and we do not always hunt meat. It hurts my heart more now to see all the dead animals on the roads and highways. It was also necessary to use the furs for warmth it wasn't crulity it was necessary. It is only crulity if you do not use the meat and every part of the animal for food and warmth, and yes, the horns to hang hats and coats.

I've been watching for about 3 yrs and Maureno and Remon have always been a team 95% of the time. Occasionally they do sit and do other things solo or with someone else.
