    I was given this exercise by a physical therapist. I was told to swing one foot out then take the other foot and put them side-by-side and then swing opposite foot out and put the feet the feet together and do this over and to do this exercise 4 to 5 days a week. The exercise is called the monster walk so I'm not sure if this exercise is being done right because this is not the way of my physical therapist told me to do it!

      I personally prefer this way but both ways get different results and different tension on the band. This way tension is maintained throughout the movement whereas the way you are talking about the tension would be released as you swing your foot in and back out again.

      That's called hip abduction, not the "monster walk" most referred to

    Hi can I just put it around my ankles and walk with it for fun
