- Hey y’all today I’m doing a relaxing thrift with me. Sometimes you just need to relax and do some Thrifting for home decor. So let’s go and share my Haul too.

Elizabeth is so sweet! Love how you have taught your girls how to thrift. It took for my mother in law to teach me how to garage sale and thrift....she had a family with 8 kids and they never went without....she always found a way. And she taught me how to bargain hunt. So grateful that she did.
on the "what is it" piece, I think that's a dryer for small things....you mount the solid piece to a wall and use the poles to hand towels, scarves, or other things to dry. Would also be great in a closet for hanging scarves or small items. Like several others that have commented, I was shocked at a lot of those prices and how long some had been on the shelves! You'd think after so long they would lower prices. Your daughter is absolutely adorable. Such a great shopper!!!

the wooden item was a hanger for pants or jean etc ----the plastic is a bagel slicer

That little thing with the holes in it is a garlic keeper. You put your cloves of garlic in that. The holes keep it aired so it doesn’t get moldy and it looks prettier than I clove of garlic on your counter.

That store is packed, mmmm i wonder why? The prices are ridiculously high. They have great items but also way to expensive for a thrift store, shame on them!
The rex bottle was an old baby bottle. I remember my brother having that kind in 1949.

Im crying over that large clock. Why oh why couldn't it be near me?? Also those two teak candles sticks and the bear/woods/lodge candle sticks were awesome!! We hardly ever have anything good at our stores and when we do find something, the price is about $1 less then brand new anymore!
I loved those lodge candle sticks too. It’s not my style but so many love that look I almost got to give away lol. Thank you for watching!

Oh my goodness! So many amazing things. But I seriously had to keep pausing and verify your title for “thrifting” because this Goodwill thinks they some major retail store with those HIGH prices...WOW!!! Our stores around here start at $.49 and always end in $.09 increments. Well, take that back kids books are 10 for $1.00.
Lol I know. It’s actually not Goodwill. It’s a family crisis thrift store. I always talk about how expensive they are. I rarely go!

That was a really expensive thrift store. I'm with you if it cost to much, they can keep it. You do a great job showing us the item's and how my they cost.

Seeing this late, but that store was expensive. I lived in Houston 20+ yrs, & thrifted all day every Saturday. I never pd over $5 for wares unless it was something I'd looked everywhere for. My entire house was thrifted except tv & bed.

My favorite thrift store, American Cancer Society has lost their minds. I had to quit coming back.
Green jade is a skin care item. Odd that is was in kitchen stuff. They normally are around $15. Meyer Lemon tin would cute with some greenery on mantle or your overhead spot or at your coffee bar. I love the glass jar mugs. I would use them for all sorts of things.

I really like the lemon tin and mason jar glasses. Not going to say anything about the prices.. no need to. That wooden item with all the bars is to hang on a wall and dry clothes. You could use it for other things. I am surprised that they didnt use the word primitive then start adding 0000. The chiken drawer thing was cute, but you're right not for 20.00. I heard that this other lady went thrifting and paid up for something that she really wanted. Only to get home to remove the tag and find the original price tag to find out she had paid more then the original price.

Did I just see you pass up some longenberger baskets there's a worth a lot of money if they have dates and things on the bottom the liners for the longenberger baskets between 18 and $20

You actually look irritated at the pricing. I know that I would be. Whoever priced these things must have work for PIER 1 or something. The little wooden hanger that said clean, single, looking for mate was for the laundry room for lost socks. That was cute. Honestly, I was glad when this was over. It wasn’t enjoyable because it was pricy and very crowded.

Is that the store that you usually frequent? And have the prices historically been that high! I'm gonna try and reach my sister-n-law's daughter, who works at our local Goodwill, and ask her about our local pricing guidelines, to see if I can gain some insight on pricing practices.

Goodwill in California sends all the good stuff to a goodwill auction site, in the stores the prices are outrageous.
