  • This is a case of Asian eyelid surgery anchoring technique by Chase Lay MD after which the patient healed slower than average partly due to her goals and her anatomy. Her skin was quite elastic which tends to create dramatic swelling after surgery. Her goal was for better defined and more symmetric creases upon which she could more easily apply makeup. She of course also wanted to look natural and look like herself and we feel the expectations where met. Results may vary but Dr. Lay works hard for the most consistent and attractive results in Asian eyelid or Double eyelid surgery possible.

Not much, but I am working on more photos and videos. I perform Asian rhinoplasty about 2-3 times per month at them moment but by far Asian eyelid surgery and fat transfer are my busiest procedures (2-4 surgeries per day). In my opinion the most experienced and best Asian rhinoplasty surgeons in the US are Charles Lee, MD Donald Yoo, MD and probably Dean Toriumi, MD. My Asain rhinoplasties tend to be tip work, osteotomies, and modest enhancement of the bridge with ear cartilage instead of rib because the majority of my patients are SE Asian with facial structure that wouldn't support a very high bridge and projected tip. I did post a brief before and after video of one of my Taiwanese patients a week or so ago.
