Два года слежу за Аризоной. Думал, что в этом сезоне Аризона сделает качественный шаг вперед и приблизится к зоне плей-офф. Но ресурсов бороться за плей-офф у "койотов" хватило только на 2/3 регулярки. Начиная с февраля Аризона уже не потянула уровень топ-10 Запада. Эта игра с сильным (особенно в атаке) НЙР наглядно продемонстрировала слабые места в системе игры Аризоны, это - организация игры в обороне и откровенно слабый сменщик Ингрэма. Атакующая группа у Аризоны обладает достаточным талантом (Келлер, Кули, Гюнтер - в первую очередь), чтобы создавать опасные моменты в чужой зоне и забивать голы. Но вот в защите не хватает достаточного количества индивидуально сильных защитников и сама организация игры при защите своих ворот слаба. В этой игре, если не брать последние 2 шайбы, пропущенные при пустых воротах, то все остальные 6 шайб были пропущены при явных ошибках в защите, или при слабой игре воротчика Веймелки. Летом генменеджеру Армстронгу надо сосредоточить свое внимание на укреплении защиты и поиске более надежного второго вратаря. Также в тренерский штаб нужен хороший специалист, отвечающий за постановку игры в обороне. Хотя в системе Аризоны есть перспективные защитники, в первую очередь Ламурё и Симашев, но им обоим понадобится не один год, чтобы дорасти до защитников уровня топ-4 команды НХЛ. Поэтому пока надо работать на рынке обменов и рынке свободных агентов. В прошлом году Армстронг подписал Дамбу, Стэчера, но оба уже обменяны в зимний дэдлайн, поэтому явно будут новые подписания, ибо слабость защитной линии очевидна.

This is the team Gary Bettman badly wants to keep in Arizona at all costs?? The Coyotes have been there almost 30 years and they STILL don't have a fanbase! They're exactly like the L.A. Chargers who only draw fans of the opposing team. And like the Chargers, they've only won championships decades ago, (1970's/1963) in a different city, (Winnipeg/San Diego) in a defunct league (WHA/AFL). See the parallels? It's no wonder why both franchises are failures.
Yeah, I don’t know why he’s so determined to keep them in Arizona, but he can only do it for so long. And I believe his little hopeless crusade to keep them there is reaching its end, and it’s coming a lot sooner then any of us think.
Edit: and with that. The hopeless crusade is finally coming to an end. Adios Coyotes, it’s been horrible.
Very sloppy game but once again we find a way to win. Put Miller back with Schneider. Miller and Trouba just don't gel together as well IMO

I’m still pissed the refs didn’t call interference on the first coyotes goal. Fox has gotten called for that pick like 20 times in the last 2 weeks, yet we never get the benefit of that call.

First time hearing the Coyotes' broadcasters, and wow...just...wow. That guy is the homer-est of homers I've ever heard. Eat your heart out, Jack Edwards.
The Coyotes announcers did not complain about missed penalty calls at all. Did you want them to be more excited for Rangers goals? Yeah, like the Rangers announcers get excited when Marchand scores against them? Lol, no, they don't. They are nothing like Jack, or even worse, the Avs announcers.
