How do you have the lithium wired with the AGM? I'm looking to make the switch pretty soon and any advice woul be helpful. I cant find much on it unless you do the battery delete.
@@danielalexander2715 ok yea both of those would be fine wired to the AGM in front. I planned on pulling out mt battery delete and putting an sb500 ultracap in my engine bay just to help a little with voltage drop. My amp is hungry as hell.
@@rexnhogz that's what I have now a 2k on two sundown x8v3. And a mechman 240. I wanted to upgrade my subs to sundown x12v3 I know I'll need a bigger amp. I'm just not sure how much the mechman 240 can handle. I was thinking a 4k 6k or 8k . I'm probably going to need to upgrade my batteries too.
@@superior3384 My 8k is a little extreme. Its dangerously at the brink lol. It is also at half ohm so its probably 10k. You will be perfectly happy with them on a 5k or 6k. If you have space for agm its fine but you will need at least 3 3400s or 3100s to run a 5k on a 240amp alt. it also depends on what ohm. my x12s sound great at 2ohms on the 8k but Im pushin it.

how’s an 80ah for taramps bass 5k , right now I got 3 agms xsd3100 and 1 up front so total 4 so you think it’ll be better?
Depending on your alternator. A 5k will never drop voltage below rest on a 80ah headway.

I deleted it with a chunk of of wood and battery terminals but they run fine if you don't. Depending on which chemistry you buy.

What was wrong with your agm? Was that a xs d3400? .
I would have needed 8 of them to run that 8k so I went Lithium. I threw the d3400 in my subaru and it barely fit but works great on a 2k.
