That's cool af and I want to trial it with some of my composites. Would love to see another version like this going through a different angle
Cheers Christian! Aha yea, it's a lot of fun 😃
This is still epic. Such a timeless tutorial! Love you Dansky!
Glad you enjoyed it! 😃
Great work, Dansky. Few tips learned.
one of the best & easiest tutorial to follow along and understand which is what, thanks! I will make sure to watch and learn more from you.
At 4:48 You don't need to switch back to 1 View, you just need to reselect the window that has the composition that you would like to preview, aka the right screen.
Make sure to fade out any fog layers before they pass the camera so they won't cut out.
You just helped my intro to Premiere midterm really pop. Thanks! Super helpful and concise.
Great tutorial...and your footage is insanely sharp!
Thanks a ton Trish!
Cool man I love it
Simple yet very helpful tutorial. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful! 😊
So very helpful. Thank you!
This completely leveled up my animated statics! Thank you!!
Glad I could help! 😊👊
Awesome!
That was a simple but not easy piece of art, good stuff 😂
Man can create a movie from a photo. Protect this man at any cost.
😅👍
Me and a friend are planning to make a game and I probably have to learn how to do all this. Even just calling out each specific little thing you're doing is tremendous. Excellent video!
Cool!
How did you get the fiery sword effect?
Quá đẹp ad ak, cảm ơn đã chia sẽ
Great tutorial!
Thanks Dika! 😊
1:51 Wow, i didn't know the cmd + A and align tools.. Thanks!
its great one
This was so helpful! Thanks!
You’re welcome! 😃
Amazing
Thanks Iztok!
Love the grunge time! hahahaa
Do you have the AEP file from After Effects as well? Great video as I am always looking for ways to improve my history videos! Cheers.
Epicness in 7 minutes
great to see this - I wasnt expecting the animation of the individual layers - it looked like the parenting the camera to the null wasnt used or did i miss something and what would advantage be to animate each layer instead of the camera itself im wondering if anyone has some thoughts?
I normally would save the still images as a psd file and import into after effects and everything is layered and arrange correctly, this way any changes made in photoshop will be updated in Ae.
if anyone is searching the bgm that plays at 2:25, it's Graduation Day by Alec Koff
Good work Corey Taylor
Haha 😂👌
🔥🔥🔥
While in 2 view's are you able to set your front perspective to "active camera" that could be the problem you are facing.
When setting the keyframes for the z value (distance from the camera, which controls the speed of zoom), was it: the closer the layers, the faster they shift?
For the character you used, did you make it yourself, or did you get it from a source, and if so where could I find more like it.
Crazy
I am basically starting ot learn this amazing software. I am an old designer regarding PS and the rest but AE its new to me so with that said. Would saving the file as a .PS work the same instead of creating PNGs of each layer?
PS - thank you for such effort to educate and creating this tut.
Yes
Yeah it would be quicker to open a psd in ae as layers. That way you start with a comp with the right images in place. It’s a nice time saver.
Also I wouldn’t do the “logo” in photoshop. If you’d use illustrator, as one should, it gives waaaay more options to animate it.
@@kaassoufflex9023 Sure but it depends, here it was a grungy text. Maybe he could try to recreate the vector shape with some roughen edges and grunge mask.
Is it possible to move the camera instead of the individual layers? Great Channel!
Yes absolutely! The bit in the video where I said “millions and millions”… well the moving collage graphic in the background was creating by moving the assets and the camera independently of one another 👍
What about the fire on the sword? 😢
Thank you so much for this video Dansky! Appreciate your efforts to teach!
Keep up the light work homie ~ 🤍🙏🏼🪽
do you have the tutorial on the photoshop?
I would have loved to see the sharp tip of the sword as it Zooms out 🥺
Aha yea that would have been cool! 😎🔥
Alguien sabe de algún tutorial completo para hacer este tipo de trabajos, no encuentro un vídeo de esto que tenga tutorial ya sea after defecto o adobe
is there any way to do it with a picture i ripped from google images. Obviously i can cut out all the elements inside the picture but i dont have a seperate image for the background so all the things are gonna duplicate if i zoom in or out. Do u understand what i mean by this. I would really like help with this as its something i wanna do in my videos
thanks for that :) ! Just a question, why did you export as PNG instead of just import your PSD files as composition ?
cheers !
Hey Dylan, you can use PSD to AE, much better workflow, and any edits to the PSD file are updated too. I sometimes just export as PNG so I can clearly view each image with transparency and check the right elements have been exported to the right file beforehand.
@@ForeverDansky Thanks mate for your answer :) !!
Was wondering on the fire sword effect?
I thought you could just import the Photoshop file into After Effects by dragging and dropping in the project panel? Or is there something i'm missing? So exporting and importing as separate PNGs can be really cumbersome at some point esp for beginners
No, it's a lot quicker to just import the PSD into AE. That way you can also edit the PSD later and have the changes reflected in AE instead of having to do the export-import step again
Would love to make my own and use my own content but not that good at photoshop. Could you make a video just based on the first part?
Hey sure, something like may be helpful if you're looking to learn photo-manipulation. I speak quite fast in this one, but you can always slow down the video (and the voiceover) using the CZcams video player controls 😊
czcams.com/video/uSUpLsZTrdM/video.html
Is that all? LOL phenomenal job you lost me at well....yea 😂 great video though 👏
its going to take me 8 hours to figure all of this out tomorrow lol
My boy is wicked smaht.
😎
What was the music in bg ?
Start with blender then after effects is easy😂
Same dude 😂
I have no experience in animation and tried blender. I felt so overwhelmed and failed because every little step took so much time to research and to learn. Which software would you recommend? Which one is the best?
😢 for me after effects is hard
@@xXxIMMORTALxXx Thanks for the advice. I started to do Ducky 3D Tutorials which are great. I already got a grasp of it and it doesnt feel so overwhelmingly complicated anymore! 👍
Blender harder
Can’t you just open the psd in after effects without saving as a png?
You can import is as a composition with everything right in place, yes.
Pretty cool tutorial so we have the same shirt design i got mine from Adobe Max Design Creative yearly Conference you
too?
Aha yea! It was a few years ago when the conference was done only digitally, Adobe sent it to me as an Insider. Absolutely love the design! 😍
@@ForeverDansky absolutely agree with you I still have mine even if I received that of the following year. Great tutorial by the way I activated my notification bell for those who will follow
01:28 After effects can import .psd files, you dont really need to export each layer to a png
Causes too many issues for me personally. Especially, if the psd file is actively being worked on, adding/removing layers etc. - doesn't always get updated correctly in After Effects.
You missed the fiery sword effects
Where did you find and download the particles from?
Envato Elements, linked in the video description! It's great for this kind of work 🙌
Wait, what about the fire?
SO at the end you did not replay the scene with the added music? Why?
It's pretty much at the beginning 👍
Uauuuuu
Nothing was said about the flaming sword
Thank you for the tutorial my question is how can anyone make money for this kind of artwork and video
Artists can commission animators to animate their works for them or company's commission animators to animate assets to use for websites/games is a few ways
the sword?
dude what about the fire ?
how to ignite flame at a sword you missed to tell
Didn't;t show how to organize layers
You didn't show how you animate the water
Who else think that modern brush preview (in brush panel) is trash ?
Yikes
Who ever made After Effect is/are both genius and a psycho abuser...😂
How on earth can someone know all this stuff. And by know I also mean remember/discover... And also for doing one simple thing you have to do like 14 other things and interconnect them...😅😂
Yeah I get it maybe this tool is not meant for amateurs like me, but still... This thing is like an old lady's warehouse that is filled with everything in there and you just don't know where anything is or what is meant to...😂
Thank Go's there is YT tutorials...😅
