Most people in the comments here have never owned a hobby grade monster truck and don’t realize how expensive they are to put together and upgrade to where the truck can handle the extra power and stress of massive tires and weight. $600 may seem high but it’s a fraction of the cost most of us monster truck RC builders spend to put in a comparable racing rig.
Yup I was thinking 500 while watching but 600 is not too bad at all.
Maybe they will offer a budget version later on? The smart tech is a bit much, I could deal without it to save cost.
But its nice with metal gears and 3S capable out of the box!
@@RandomStuffGarage619 I noticed this morning a completely built roller less body, electronics is available for $399. This is typically how I roll as it’s a little tough to gather at $600 all at once but I can come up with three to $400 and then slowly build the truck into my creation over the course of a few months and that’s probably what I will do here
@@RandomStuffGarage619 you can get a roller version and put your own cheaper electronic system in.
Yeah right after I posted that I saw the roller info on big squid. PERFECT!
I want to build a retro bigfoot anyway so I would rather get the roller and build up slowly with my own gear to save a few bucks and take my time.

I've been watching videos of these all morning and when I saw Ryan and Adam doing a review I knew it would be good. Seeing grave digger and son-uva digger rc trucks driving like the real thing....

Love it. Grave digger has been my favorite ever since I was a child. I am impressed with how far the engineering has come with monster trucks in general. And to have one of these is a blast.
JUST a fantastic build! Love it! Can't wait to get one. Would love to do a review on them. So many reviews have called this out as the best RC model of 2020 and I kinda agree.

Hi I've been to Monster Jam three times and I really love the Grave Digger paint schemes
As a kid since 1989 I loved Digger but since they started using Son avu digger...there hasn't been another cooler truck!
What I think is since most of these reviewers have gotten these this truck makes me laugh. The front axle sucks.

I have had mine for years, I have broken parts but it's caused by cold weather or heavy hits. I just need a new caster block and skid plates then good to return to action

@@TortugaBruv better than paying $2000 for the raminator Monster Truck RC that people still have to replace the engine part cause the engine it has doesn't give a lot of power so yeah I rather pay $600 for that when you don't have to replace things and it's ready to go out of the box

If only they had nitro versions, came with 4 wheel steering and preferably 2 shocks per tire, it would be perfect imo
That shows you have no idea about rc.
Electric motors are more efficient than nitro's.
And with 4ws they would flip over immediately

I have over $900 in my custom built axial SMT-10. This looks more capable of bashing hard.
Yeah, same mine cost loads and it's still not as strong as these look. The axles and links look thick and beefy.
