Yesterday I was supposed to start working, everything was ready, but at the last moment, the boss changed his mind; that he doesn't need me anymore. I was so disappointed 😭😭 and hurt, but after listening to this sermon, I feel peace in my heart, for I know He is work for my good, He is preparing the best for me, His love never fails. Thanks you pastor Stanley, am very grateful

Shit! What God do you have? I get constant disappointments. I guess praying in spirit in truth, to the Sovereign Father in heaven in the name of Christ and relying on his merits of righteousness, in his name alone, and his intersession at the right hand of the Father is just not working for me!
@@jamespython5147same here...after truly praying and begging over and over...and Im now unemployed and savings gone and cant support my family. For 2 years I have prayed my heart out....I guess he hears some and not others....

When I think of my life’s troubles, I think that Jesus had troubles too and He paid the ultimate price for me. I don’t like pain, suffering or disappointment, but I’m sure Jesus didn’t either. Together we suffer with Jesus. When I think of things that way, I feel less alone and scared.

This message hit the basic principle: will you obey? ("If you love me, keep my commandments." ) FAITH WORKS BY LOVE. The enemy KNOWS THAT. HE WILL TRY TO MAKE YOU DOUBT GOD'S LOVE FOR YOU, OR YOUR LOVE FOR GOD; or try to get you to brush aside the Holy Spirit and his leading or warnings.

I know the Lord gives us FREE WILL. To trust or rely on Him is a choice! However, Do you truly want to live your life in a raft boat all by your self when that huge storm is approaching you, no one to hope in or to look after you or care about you or love you? I rather choose to trust in Jesus and allow Him to be in charge of my life.
I'm going to get a polyp on my cervix removed at the end of August. I am going to totally trust in the Lord that this will not be cancerous. Even though the DR said it looks slightly irregular in appearance. The Lord knows and sees all. I surrender my life to Jesus, you should to!!

The difference between Christians and others is that we can be weak, sick and fail, but celebrate our weakness as sickliness knowing that god encourages it. Our feeling of moving away from God is ironically what brings us closer to God. Feeling guilty it’s what makes us Christian. My non-Christian friends just don’t have this guilt but I’m afraid to separate from God to not reach heaven so I have no choice but to feel this guilt. I am sure that feeling guilt is really an important part of being a real Christian. Sickliness and guilt brings us together as true Christians. Together and down, but together beneath Him.
i have a hard time staying disciplined and beat myself up when i don’t. Jesus please give me the strength to overcome my own desires and distractions of this world.

People also need to learn that the 'love' of God is not what we think it is. For starters, God loves himself and his work more than he loves us. The millions that are in hell now are there because he loves his own will and justice more than those suffering in hell. The same is to be applied to believers, his own will and glory is more important than our wants and needs. God being NOT a loving caring kind benevolent being to us is all part of the punishments for sin and for his own glory. This is TRUE punishment indeed, that God deliberately becomes cruel and unkind towards us, not for an particular sin that we have committed, hence Jobs words about his on suffering, but the sufferings of the church.

Thank you Dr Charles Stanley that was quite a sermon may God bless you and and make you able to keep on preaching and that was one of the best sermons about Lazarus being raised from the dead that I've ever heard
Take an example:
Imagine a very young child. Do they understand why they have to go to the dentist? Perhaps in some small way.
Yet for a younger child still who cannot - do they understand why their dad has to hold them down on the chair while a strange man (the dentist) pokes and prods inside their mouth?
Or a dog, when you hold them down and let a strange man (the vet!) give them a shot?
If it is so easy to think of examples of how human love can be expressed in ways that the recipient often cannot understand, how much moreso does it seem possible (in fact, guaranteed) that God is at work, considering how much He loves us?
Think of the cross. That's how much He loves us.
I've a long way to go, but Jesus is faithful.

One quibble, the passage in Romans does not say that God engineers troubles in our lives for our good. It says that God works all things together for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purposes. He need not "engineer" trials, he redeems them.
