      I KNOW IT IS!!! But I love their enthusiasm! It's like I felt the first time I heard "I'm Badd" by LL Cool J. Only I was a Southerner in the US who was an eighth grade female student. They are new Hip-hop fans but their first listening ears are more sophisticated than the American youngster/teenager that discovers rap. They are also writers. So they may be able to better understand some metaphors and double entendres than young kid discovering the art. However the fact that they're not much younger than me, but don't know of Lil Wayne! Preposterous!!!🤗 Well the one guy heard "The Carter III" I think he stated. Such an interesting perspective!

    Kendrick's verse was him being on the receiving end of lil wayne and his girl's "finessing", so he starts off his verse angry with the aggressive voice and follows it up with the crying voice when he breaks up with her, that was genius & funny to me lmao

    • @MrHappymadcow
      @MrHappymadcow Před 5 lety +14

      Actually, kendrick's verse is a whole different story apart from waynes. He is in someones else's perspective, in the song kendrick says "Touchin' yourself, lookin' at Kendrick videos
      Jump on the internet, watchin' his interviews"
      That just shows that he isn't on the recieving end...
      The whole point of the song is to say, DON'T TRUST BITCHES 😁

    • @DeeJoyce
      @DeeJoyce Před 5 lety +6

      MrHappymadcow Nah...Kendrick's verse is still in Wayne's World. It is about him being on the receiving in of MonaLisa and Wayne. But not the same guy that Wayne raps about. Kendrick's a more tragic storyline of the Finesse Queen Mona. Kendrick doesn't use his own name...he said Wayne. "Touching yourself, lookin at WAYNE'S videos. Even Mona Lisa's phone ringtone was "Lollipop" by Wayne. Kendrick finds out his girl is having sex with Wayne. At the end Kendrick is so distraught over her betrayal with Wayne that he shoots himself. The art of storytelling!! They painted a perfect picture.

      This has actually been measured and Wayne is closer to a 4 than a 10 as far as vocabulary, closer to Lil B and Gucci Mane. Hate to break it to you, but ICP has a more complex vocabulary (I fucking hate ICP). The rappers on the higher end of the vocabulary spectrum are MF DOOM, Kool Keith, Wu Tang, Outkast, Black Thought, and Aesop Rock.

That's something kendrick picked up from him and he does it in the "The Heart part 1,2 and 3", 3 out of a 4 part song series he did over his career inbetween his EP's and albums. Honestly they are the best way to see kendrick skill and lyricism increase over the years, i would love to see you guys do them sometime.

    Love ur channel guys! I will say this since your new to wayne, his evolution as an artist is remarkable, he was always extremely talented lyrically but he invented his own style which actually inspired the whole punkrock/rap style and all the new age rappers draw alot of there swagger from wayne he was godfather of this new rap we hear today. The face tattoos and drug induced rhymes all go back to wayne. True legend and easily as an artist is top 5 in the rap game. Ever.

    amazing song and great video! love the effort by u guys to make these videos happen from 100 miles apart. love that you did some more kenny too! please do some more of his own songs tho when u get the chance! that's when he REALLY shows how much of a genius he is:
    -blacker the berry (very hard and dark beat - mindfuck plot twist at the very end of the song)
    -ANY song from the heart series (I've said this before but i think reacting to all parts of the heart together would make an amazing video. it's only 4 songs so it's not the commitment of a whole album and they tell an amazing story of kendrick's perspective on music and life over totally different stages of his career. I've also never seen another react channel do all these songs so im sure all the other kendrick fans out there [and theres a lot of us] would REALLY love a video like this)
    -bitch don't kill my vibe (original version or remix ft. jay z. both are fire in different ways)
    -money trees ft jay rock (u love jay rock and this is a great verse by him on an amazing beat so....)
    Some songs off DAMN. which are just kinda a different vibe kendrick from the rest of his stuff: Fear; XXX; God; Element
    AAAND some great STORYTELLING songs by him: sherane aka master splinter's daughter; the art of peer pressure; duckworth; collect calls
    thanks for reading if u got thru all this! i know u get a ton of kendrick recs but im an ENORMOUS fan of his and i promise if you do ANY of these song any real kendrick fans out there will love it

Almost like the student has mastered the craft that wayne paved for him. Brilliant stuff.

    ALSO IF YOU LIKE WAYNE THIS MUCH THEN TRY KENDRICK LAMAR - C4! It’s a mixtape that Kendrick made when he was a lot younger completely influenced by Wayne! (C4 stood for Carter 4 before Wayne had released the album Kendrick made his own)

    If you think there were no wordplay in this, that means they all went over your head. It IS genius. Wayne's part is absolutely genius if you analyze it.
