- Welcome to the latest episode of Big Trip! Today I am at Edinburgh Gateway, the newest station in Scotland and on the Fife Circle Line where services are seen by Scotrail only!
Edinburgh Gateway was a scenic station with nice surroundings, there are nice curves leading around the station with a gradient increase just North of Gateway. There was a nice selection of 158s and 170s and even a surprise passing later on. It is very new but quite quiet for a concourse that looks like Stratford International's one. I would recommend this station.

They almost all go through Cowdenbeath. The Fife circle through Cowdenbeath and Glenrothes is just a local line to Edinburgh but parts of it cover the East Coast mainline. Funny, I've travelled so often from Cowdenbeath yet only once has my train stopped at Edinburgh Gateway.
Awesome Footage Buddy :) Lovely sighting of the ScotRail HST.
Thanks Rob!
Great video!

i like the fact that the HSTs are going to scotrail rather than being scrapped
