The man who changed the game. Harrison expedited the rule changes of the NFL. With hits like these, the opposing teams were forced to protect their players.. Harrison, Clark & Polamalu had some pretty devastating hits during their career!
Thanks so much for watching.. It honestly means the world.

James Harrison was not to be joked with.. Deebo was out there snatching souls week after week..
A fun Cleveland beatdown in the classic 75th anniversary uniforms! Big Ben returns after his suspension & puts up 3 TD!

I had to scoop several of these jerseys up troy, hines and harrison
you are taking your pitiful little meaningless life in your hands when you're on the bad end, offense, when Debo is on the other side, and, has your #
This was probably the greatest team/ line up of all time
The defense was so scary good back then.
Even now to a clip
The former player now what is up mike hilton leveon Bell James Conner Antonio Brown Juju Smith Schuster
Has been since the 70s.
@@jwsteelers1, not a real fan then. Go jump on one of those shiny bandwagons the NFL rolls out once a year. We don't need you.
It was for sure! But I think this year it is going to surprise some people and open some eyes of some doubters. In a year that is supposed to be a rebuilding year, I can honestly say that I believe the Steelers will make the playoffs. Alot of people think this will be Tomlin’s first losing season or go .500, I don’t. I think Money Mitch starts and if he struggles early you will see Pickett but I think they are gonna do something special this year.
All this old classics makes me happy with youthful memories. This was back when I first started watching Football in 2010. I was 8 years old and it was the start to a love of the game that still engulfs me to this day. It also makes me sad when the good old days are no longer. Ben is no longer playing Heinz Field is no more...it's truly sad. Thanks for bringing back all the great Memories. I really love it.
I wish we still had an elite defense. I think we have never recovered from the loss of Ryan Shazier.
O-H was on pace for greatness.
Promising season this year for the defense!
At least at MLB you are correct
ABSOLUTELY 💯 ❤
The offense averaged 17 points a game this year and they won 10 games that's an elite defense
It was always crazy, to watch these hits from Deebo, & he would always get up like it was nothing! Thanks Yinzburg 👍🏻! 🖤🏈💛
Harrison was one of, if not the toughest player in the NFL at this time. This was a fun game to revisit. Thanks for posting.
Harrison was a sack of dirt!!!
As I watch this Steelers team play, all I can do is stand with my hand over my heart and sob uncontrollably. We where golden. FML 😭😭😭
This game would change the NFL rules for defenses forever. Also bring back those yellow helmet throwbacks!
Every one of these videos I appreciate how good the Steelers have always been
Thanks for sharing this gem.
This is the first time I have seen this game.
I also like the 75th anniversary uniforms.
Reminds me, miss me some big snack. Dude just moved more people than UHaul.
I got to actually talk to James Harrison for about 15 minutes at Steelers fan blitz event at Heinz field in 2008. We were literally last in line, and he stayed after a little bit to talk to me and my brothers. Awesome experience. Also Louis Lipps was at the same table and he stayed a little longer and we also got pictures with him. James’s head was the size of my entire torso 💀
I absolutely LOVE this channel!!
James Harrison will always be one of my favorites, but some of his hits really made me cringe 😬…
He was a beast even though he eat meat his strength was strength while he was slow as fluff he made up for in the run game
@@moalston4203
Slow? "Slow as fluff"?
Yes, he needed all of these great blocks, and yes, he was eventually tackled, and yes, he probably needed bottled oxygen during halftime, but, "slow?":
czcams.com/video/TGYS6IfLZC4/video.html
@@onepunch9203 he was faster earlier those were his prime years I hate his way he was borderline HOF
Very violent pro football player
Harrison was a surreal monster of the gridiron and offenses didn't like to play against him, a true Steeler at heart ;) He is still quite intimidating but nothing is a black and gold as this channel! Here We Go Yinz!!
It's ironic, Harrison's first career start came in Cleveland way back in 2004. He started when Joey Porter got ejected when he got into a pregame with William Green of The Browns.
That swarming defense!! I miss that group!
Steeler nation!
The early part of the Roethlisberger era was dominated by the defense where the offense didn't always do their part. The Killer B's era had a great offense but the defense usually let them down when it mattered. The 10-11 Steelers was probably the most balanced team Pittsburgh had with Roethlisberger. The defense was still very good while the offense also had a lot of capable playmakers with the crazy depth they had.
My first game I attended. Them hits were loud!
They sure some bone crushing hits that football though entertainment
Roethlisberger was Cleveland's Kryptonite! There was a radio talk show host in Cleveland, Mike Trivisonno, who famously told the Cleveland Browns fans, "You better learn his name, because he is going to be around a long time!" God rest your soul Mike, you are a Cleveland legend.
James Harrison is what Vontaze Burfect thought he was.
When the ref said delay of game OFFENSE after Massaquoi got knocked out.. Haha
Itz Yinz!!! I'm in Cali and I want hats, what's the deal with yo' merch site?
He was a beast on that field and is one of the many hall of fame greats that Pittsburgh has had over the years of Steelers football 🏈🏈 GO STEELERS
Why did I think the title said Mosquito💀 buy anyway what a W defense
Cribbs K.O play starts at 5:30 and
Massaquoi starts at 8:12
I was at this game. It was my first game since the Bus’ last game. Came back from Texas for my birthday with my now wife. The Cribs hit happed right in front of me. I thought Debo killed him.
Its crazy how deebo never seemed hurt after most of these massive hits. Also ben could carve up defenses at times didnt matter who he was throwing to he would put it on the money. Pass to wallace was nuts side armed throw as tacklers were dragging him down geeze
He was a beast among men
Farriors blitz at 3:38 is insanely timed.
I hope our defense can get back like that 🙏
McCoy looks like he’s 12 years old & he’s sooooo short. James Harrison is 4 times the size of McCoy. If I was McCoy, I think I’d be rethinking my career decision at this point.
10:34 off topic, this was a common theme with Kemoeatu lol.
Remember when the NFL fined James Harrison for that hit on Massaquah, while they were also selling images of it on their website?
In all seriousness, 62° is not ideal football weather. 32° and snowy is perfect football weather.😉😁
Hate how he left PGH. I wanted to see him play more but the Steelers didnt want him. Really hurt to see him in a Patriots uniform
I'm 87 years old. That was an EXCELLENT double-knockout by Harrison. A lot of young people today don't realize that back in Harrison's day, a defensive football player's worth was determined by the number of players he knocked unconscious in each game. Double-knockouts were a rare accomplishment and a source of great honor among other players. The record is held by Earle "Lights Out" Johnson of the 1938 Canton Bulldogs (back when knockouts were an official stat before that cheesecake Goodell took over. Lights-Out Johnson recorded a whopping 7 knockouts which included a punter, the opponent's head coach, and an opposing fan in Row 8 that gave him a dirty look. In today's game, Lights-Out wouldn't have lasted 1 quarter without being banned for life. It's sad to see a man's game slowly being turned into a game for little girls and ballerinas.
Entertainment for them rich white folks like the gladiators in ancient rome period
Anywhere to find that game? Or look it up?
Hey, I wish u great health and many more bdays to come. I have a question: Did you see Norm Van Brocklin pass for 550+ yards in the 1950s? And do u think it's strange how no QB has broken that number since? especially in a passing league now.
Yeah it’s sad to see there’s rules in place to prevent from CTE growing. Thank God you aren’t in charge of the rules old man.
@@johnnycleveland216 you cannot really prevent CTE 100% with rule unless everything goes your way and you don't hit your head that much when being tackled or involved in a play
The Game That Changed The Game.
Well, 92 did give AB CTE😂
This is a perfect example of what Tom Brady said in an interview about being responsible for knowing everything, because some throws shouldn't be made even if they're open right now. It's on the QB to know if it's safe for the WR, and if not...throw them into safety. As in the passes that they have to slide to catch, but they're down and out of danger instead of being folded in half by grown ass men that get paid to fold offensive players in half. This game was as much McCoy's fault as it was Harrison's
o yeah lol what a joke...
That's what it's like inside the AFC North. Hardnose smashmouth football. Er,..was. The Brahns are done for a while, Baltimore has a RB for a QB, and the Bungals being good weighs on only 2 players and if either get hurt then they're done at least temporarily.
Wow, that flop was like watching soccer
RB34 was pretty good.
JAMES HARRISON IS A SCARY MAN ON THE FIELD!!!!!!!
I Love it when we beat the Clowns
Did you love it last week? 🤣
Penalty. Number 92. Playing defense too well. 15 yards…
Yes because helmet to helmet is such good defense
2 KO’s 🤣
I loved watching James Harrison and hated playing against him…he played the way you were taught back then and you can’t fault him for that!
Mhm.... mhm.... mhm
I know Harrison has cte and has caused others to have it 😳
James knocked these dude the eff out
Lol what a jerk
The steelers own the browns so much, they literally KO them like a boxing opponent, a terrible boxing opponent
Gosh, the Browns always suck
I still didn't see anything wrong with the hits. They were both runners. When that qb is out of the pocket he's fair game. Just like the hit on Moore from bud. The hit on Mas, what are supposed to do. He was low, rec just went low.
Did you forget helmet to helmet? Take off the Steelers shades.
Some of his hits are cheap shots
