In my experience most people cant effectively pick up advanced finning styles by observation alone. Maybe they did something like it but I'd probably have them topside training every element of the frog kick and talking about it before doing it in the pool. I might even have them doing it at the surface step by step holding on to the edge of the pool for balance. But then again - people are likely to forget or not feel what they are actually doing once they descend. There is probably not a lot to do about it short term but many of these guys experience added diffculty with the styles because their bouyancy control is intermediate and their weight distribution is not ideal and the guys with the holiday snorkling fins are not making it any easier for themselves. Some of these things are just way easier to do with a pair of jet fins or one of the mares classics ... for one thing the ridge along the edge provides some added "grip". Although that should not compensate for proper execution ...
I appreciate you posting this.👍🏽👍🏽

Divers with bad fins will not be able to do it.
Don’t just DO it. EXPLAIN what you are doing and why. Give us techniques. Tips. Tricks. Pluses. Minuses. Dump the shitty music and TALK.
