Been a big time fan of Nate since I started making baits. For the longest time I called his channel Marlin Baits" till my brother corrected me. Guess We've gone full circle. I'll be sending this Swimbait too him.

That was a touch of class sending that to Marling Baits. You just got yourself a new subscriber for that move. Just so you know Iâve followed Marling for 3 years now and your the first bait maker that has inspired me to follow them since Marling. Consider that an â Adda Boy!â
I couldn't have said it any better an couldn't have agreed moređđđ...
Same here! Nateâs the man.
Same
That's why I'm here too. I saw it on Marling's channel đ
You beat us all to saying it!đ
âI canât let him win a race he doesnât know heâs competing inâ lol
I'm excited to see him respond to this video. I can hear him now. "Wow, this calls for one thing... PIKE SPOT!" lol
Its O' Fish' Al!
He wonât reply lol. Anyway. BE FREE.
*snaps off*
@@dmatthews2564 not with a leader and a barbed hook. It will snap though with that week ass line he has. Young ones donât use proper line. The plastic stuff. Feels better to fish. Every rod knock. But Americans must see it different. I hate the sound of nylon in a reel. Makes no sense.
@@joeburrows6 if you ever watch Marling baits he's notoriously unlucky with have pike lures snap off even with a proper set up
This is going to explode. Thisâll kickstart your channel for sure
I don't know who you are, but you showed up in the algorithm of good old CZcams. I've been watching Marlin Bates for a very long time. And I am so glad you were a suggestion. Great video keep it up
Looks like this video just put you on the map...congrats!
Looks great and Congrats on beating him to itđđ»really surprised he hasnât done a marlin
I loved the underwater shots. Very nice bait.
First viewing of your videos... GREAT JOB!
Now on to some more of your videos!
It was great watching Nate fish with your lure!
I can't believe marling hasn't made a marlin. It must be fate for you to have made that badass marlin and send it to him! I really hope to see it in a future video of his.
Awesome job
Beautiful bait. Nice work
I like the music choiceâ€ïžâ€ïž
Itâs resonance by home
Been following Marling for a couple of years now and found you through him. Great video and Iâm sure Marling appreciates you beating him lol. Have a good one and looking forward to next video!
This dude is so underrated
Beautiful piece of functional rip lipping art..... awesome đ
Very well done
What a great action!
đ Nice job. Cant believe Marling Baits hasn't done it yet either. First video of yours I've seen. Subbed looking forward to more. Thanks for sharing.
came over from marlins channel. great work young man. keep it up
Heck yeah that's definitely a marlin bait for sure. And top notch quality
Got a like and subscribe from me!!! Love watching Marling Baits. All the best for your channel brother!
That was really cool
Killer job
that action is amazing
I just came across your channel.job well done.
Ideaâs for possible baits:
Scuba Steve as a deep diving crank bait.
Fish Bones lure ( my take would be to carve a Fish skeleton and suspend it in an epoxy pour resin bait ) but you do you...
A Jurassic Period bait... ( you choice of action )
A chug bait with a blow hole action
Make a bait based on a car or truck you like.
Make a rattle trap type lure.
( please leave comments below on which idea(s) you think you would like to see him tackle... ( pun intended ))
Well done man! It looks fantastic and actually swims pretty well. It even got better after it was painted. It got a heap more tail action.
I regret not subbing when I saw the baits you sent in, definitely subbed now
Wow really nice work
Nice job it's awesome seeing such a young man being a maker, and not sitting full time in front of a video game.
I've been watching Nate for 5 yrs,got me doing it. I gotta say if it were me,I'd be honored man! Great job! Got my sub.
Awesome lure!!! I hope he sees this!!đ„đ„
I hope this inspires Nate to give him a crack at one. I keep telling him Marling is actually what marlin used to be called, so he's destined to make one. Even in Moby Dick, they have spears made from "marling spikes". I love the color scheme of your lure, and I think the action is solid. Like many have said, the tie is in a bad spot, but mistakes are made to learn from. It's still definitely worthy of a wall if nothing else. Only thing I have ever thought might work is some sort of wire directly into the bill, or maybe the entire bill itself is a steel wire coated and painted. Possibly even a wire through the entire lure, but that's a ton of extra work, since you'll have to cut it in half and make a channel for the wire. Keep it up! It's definitely a good hobby, and one worth pursuing if you enjoy it.
Awesome bait love the paint job
a very good looking lure, I like it
Underwater footage was a winner.!
Nice video đ
Looks great! I love all of the wyoming plates on your wall.
Excellent lure man, well done. Good you you put Marling in the title or I might not of discovered your Chanel. I canât wait o see Marlings reaction when he gets it, Iâm sure heâll be stoked! Iâve subscribed and am looking forward to seeing more of your creations.
All the best from Southampton England.
Hell yeah that was awesome!
Great job! How did I miss your channel all this time? Subscribed!
Drop this man a follow yâall this is the first video I seen from him and wow that lure is stunning
the only think that kills me about this entire bait is the seam from the foil. other than that it was a top notch build. thanks for sharing
Awesome video, your work is amazing, subscribed!
Solid video man you greatly know what your doing, gotta love the super glue and baking soda. Keep up the vids your gonna take off I swear.
This was the first video I watched of yours. Love the bait, nice job. I was curious about the tail joint having one eyelet, but it turned out fantastic. Hope MB does a video on it!

Nice!!
Excelente perfeito parabĂ©ns sucesso đđđđđ
Here from marlin baits lol
Hopefully we see Marling Baits do a review on it.
Idk where in Oklahoma you are, but Iâm in the Okc area! Great job! Hopefully see you around!
Cool vid. Hopefully you can do a collab sometime. I bet you guys are a blast to hang out with.
awesome job man good work
Made a new subscriber out of me! Great work!
Nice video. I think a stick metal wire as the nose piece would have worked pretty nicely and help you with the durability issue.
Why dont you make a marling lure?
@@sergioberenguergarcia5144 who knows maybe someday I will
i have almost zero expertise when it comes to bait-making, but i've watched a ton of lure making videos, and one thing i can recommend is not to put the line tie UNDER that long nose, otherwise the line/snap-on will break it during a drill (saw that in a video, prolly Nate's)
Great work! it looks amazing!
I like your video
A trick
Making the fins from Salt Water Blend of plastic works
It allows me to cast a colored fins that will flex and are durable
Also I can replace the fins as needed
I have not tried it
But I bet a firm Silicon would do well for the Marlin Bill
Nice lure
Awesome bait! Can I recommend a mason jar for the KBS. I fold some Saran Wrap a couple times and put it over the top of the jar. Screw the lid over that and it shouldnât stick. Keep the product shelf life better than keeping it in the jar.
Nice, why didnt you put the forward line connector on the end of the nose?
Good job
Thank you Cole xoxo
