Works for a lot of different people. Spot on. Camera snobs won’t get it. It’s a ton of fun, love the looks of photos and video quality is incredible. I’m very happy with my first Panasonic camera.

I think it’s a very cool camera - it’s a full frame point and shoot and points the way to where cameras have to go to be relevant to the masses. No viewfinder? Look around, all the kids use the screen of their phone. Editing? On your phone too, using a desktop to edit images is soo yesterday. The democratisation of video colour grading via the LUT feature and app? Again, the future, makes it available to the masses. I use a Nikon Z30 as my walk around point and shoot camera, when I want to be a “real photographer” I’ll take my OM1 or XT5 along. Great review btw …

No mechanical shutter or fast sensor readout, no EVF, no hot shoe, 15 minute 4k recording limit, only $200 cheaper than S5ii. The kit lens is a crappy manual focus F8 lens!!!! This is a contender for the worsts camera of the year.

For example, for youtubers doing mostly talking heads, you dont need all of those.
You put it in a tripod, monitor the feed on your pc, use studio lights and mics, and thats it. Dont need a grip, EVF, shutter, and enjoy limitless recording.
O yeah, and for the price, its cheaper than the ZVE1 with less features. In my country its only 66% of the S5ii's price with the 20-60 kit lens.
