- My accordion version of En Mäktig Här by Finntroll. A few little mess-ups, but well, there's no such thing as a perfect take. Yes I know I bounce a lot. I do that when I play accordion :P. Also put my own little twist on the end with those long held chords before a final blast of the tune - I just like it that way :D. Also, I missed out the key change towards the end and just carried on in the same key - changing key would have been way too hard with only 72 basses.
Also fun little fact: You can't see here because the light is shitty, but this accordion is very special in that it's signed by Finntroll themselves!

sorta, was a festival (Bloodstock) :P ...I always like to bring my accordion along just to play in the campsite, start some folk metal singsongs, or just general singsongs :P ...I wasn't planning on getting it signed, but I noticed Finntroll were in the signing tent and thought why the hell not! They even asked me to play something so I did Trollhammaren and Routa filmed it (dunno what they did with the video though) XD

Out of this world man! HYVÄÄ!!! I need to get my chromatic accordion working, which note pattern are the bass note humppa in in the different sections? If you understand what I mena, and could take time to answer, I'd be... well, I'd buy you a Karhu!

This is bloody fantastic. I'm an accordionplayer myself (check out Toy Box by Ward XVI for some circus metal madness!). Just wondering what key this is in? The video is a little too dark to see what's going on!
minneth1984 Oh hey you're in Ward XVI? You guys played Almost Fatal Fest in Barrow about a year ago! My pirate metal band Iron SeaWolf played there a couple of months before the one you did. Sadly I couldn't get myself along to the one you guys played but I checked you out as I really liked the sound of it from the description. Absolutely brilliant, I love wacky theatrical avant garde stuff like that. I've actually got some of my own stuff along those lines in the pipeline. It's just a case of finding other people who are up for it as I want to do it as like a huge eclectic ensemble! Oh and yeah, the key is D minor.
OwenEvansMusic Ha ha small world, my friend. Yeah, our singer knows the dude that runs that night so we went down and got very drunk and played. He did mention a pirate metal band coming down as well actually, when I mentioned I don't know many other accordion players! Will check you guys out! Worked out it was in D Minor by turning the brightness up on my laptop ha ha. Great work man, I just happened to stumble upon this after playing my accordion and listening to Finntroll at the same time! Funny how things go! Hopefully be on the same lineup soon!
