It is still the best Nascar Racing Game.... I love the guys who create always new mods! I love the Bullring G6-Mod with the original sound! And my Spotter is the original voice of the 99 car. It is so awesome!!!

iRacing.com is based off the same code as Papyrus NR sims. The original designers bought the code back from Universal/Vivendi when EA got the franchise. They then used it to create the iRacing.com Sim.

Once you've played this game, you never want to go back to the console versions again, they all suck, this is the only real racing game series ever created, it's a damn shame they don't make them like this anymore.
The only game that ever took a step in the direction of nr2003 was NASCAR 09....on PS3/360.....and yes I know iracing is a thing but I'm talking about a game that everyone that wants to play can afford. My point is iracing is expensive and only on pc....so for console people NASCAR 09 was a step toward nr2003 on console.
The only thing that would make NR2003 better is a more realistic cosmetic damage model. May God have mercy on your CPU and GPU though if that ever happens. The only game I've seen that has an incredibly realistic damage model is 'Rise of Flight' and that's not even a racing game.

Yes you can, you can hack the track files to make it always blow-over. There are tutorials on it.

Changing the track and chassis types to 4 and 5, change the grip to 3.whatever the decimal was and change the temperature to -175.
